all hype or are they actually really good? i've heard a few songs and some i like, some i'm not particularly fond of but i look forward to hearing the album..

I like Klaxons, wot i've heard so far. I wasn't too sure about a couple of tracks at first but they've really grown on me. My fave songs are Magick, Golden Skans and Atlantis To Interzone. Their debut album Myths Of The Near Future is out 29th Jan, i'm really looking forward to hearing it :)

The Klaxons in my opinion are rubbish.

I've heard a couple of songs of theirs that I've liked. They're kinda weird, though. Not that that was ever a bad thing, mind you...

 

As for the "new wave of new rave" or whatever the silly title is... I have the distinct impression that it is entirely a lazy fabrication by certain elements of the British press, in the hope that it would become a self-fufilling prophesy. Will it work? Time will tell. Basically you can find someone messing around with any particular genre at any given time if you look hard enough.

Seen the 'Golden Skans' video and I liked the song but I dunno, I think it isn't bad nor good... in between.

Muse is a big fan of theirs.... asked them to open for them at Wembley...... :wink3: I dig them as well.. Golden Skans is ace!!!

How people can stand listening to that shit, I don't know. Worst than Sam's Town, and Sam's Town set the standard for over-hyped pile of poo very high.

I've heard some songs and they're not too bad...

I really like Klaxons! It's different than what I usually listen to, but after hearing the album the second time, it really grew on me and I love every track.
