Rootless tree, 9 crimes (tho it's better on piano :laugh3:), uhmm... Grey room, Delicate! Older Chests isn't that hard either. You should definitely give them a try! ;)

The AOL sessions make me happy. :wacky:

Just learned Delicate on the cello, played it with my friend while he was on guitar and vocals. It sounded great. :D

Oh my god, you play cello!!!

That's awesome, I'd love to play with you :P

Thanks, will do! :)

Edit: Gave Delicate a try. Quite easy indeed :) Trying to learn Cannonball at the moment, not so bad and actually fun to play (though it's hard to use the thumb with a classical guitar).

Oh wow. That's awesome. Did you figure it out by ear? Or did you find the scores?

I do play cello! I play cello, guitar, bass, piano and drums. They're all super fun.

I just learned it by ear. It's not too hard if you've been playing for a while. :D

Hey we play the same instruments, except the cello. I got myself to learn harmonica instead (which is not hard at all) :P:D But if I ever have the opportunity to learn the cello, I will. Love that instrument :wacky:

Oooh that's awesome :D Got any plans to record it soon?

Thanks, will do! :)

Yes, I think it's kinda easy. You play the guitar? If so, you should give it a try too :)

Cheers Darlin' is one of my favourites and it's a great song to play. When he played it live he turned it into an 8 minute long version where he got everyone from all the bands supporting him onto the stage to play along with him. Before he invited them to join him he spent a couple of minutes explaining what the lyrics were about and the experience that spawned the song, all the while gulping down red wine and getting some guy to keep filling up his glass with more wine. It was amazing.

I love my Cheers Darlin' t-shirt. :D

Wow. You're so lucky. When did you get to see him live?

And yeah, Cheers Darling is so great, for some odd reason, I didn't like it at first, but now I love it.

I saw him play in Dublin in 2007, the last time he's played here methinks. Can't wait until he comes back. He had stories explained a couple of other songs as well and it was one of the best gigs i've ever been at. The lyrics to Cheers Darlin' basically explain the story he told but you felt much more sorry for him when he explains it!

It's alot easier than I though, there are like 3 chords !

well, i *try* to play it...tho i think i'm rather sloppy on my chords & my strumming needs (a lot) of work. but i'll look up the tabs for Delicate anyway & give it a try. :)

Ah well, we're not always good when we just started playing, you know :P

Ok tell me how you found it :nice:

Yep, he does that every concert. The wine, the drunken act, all. :D

Thanks for bumping the thread!!!

And oh man, I so wish to get to see him live one day!!! This Cheers Darlin' thing is pretty cool. I bet the atmosphere is incredible.

You won't be the only one!

Yeah that sure would be awesome! I think that any artist should have some kind of an Oracle.
