Also Argentina, and Honduras, yes they won last night in my country but I'm really happy they are going straight to the WC, sorry Costa Rica :P
October 15, 200916 yr Viva Chile   That for me is the outstanding performance of the whole qualification campaign throughout the world. Finishing just a point behind table toppers Brazil is one hell of an achievement. I always thought the best South American teams were Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia and Ecuador. Now Chile are in there and they could be a sneaky team in the sense of South Korea in 2002 at World Cup 2010!

I hope that will happen :bomb: Here everyone is so excited, we are not used to this kind of things, our team always depends of another teams to qualify and that's why we are so happy. In 2002 we ended in the last place of the qualifiers and we didn't qualify to the germany world cup either. I hope our team will do it great in the World Cup, can't wait :D The good thing is that our team is mainly composed with very young players so we might have a chance to be in the next world cup too  The coach is great too, it's like he changed the players' minds, it's amazing Let's go, Chile, let's go. :D

October 17, 200916 yr European Playoffs Seeded teams: FRANCE RUSSIA PORTUGAL GREECE Unseeded teams: Ukraine Republic of Ireland Bosnia-Hercegovina Slovenia Come on Ireland! (How ironic would it be if Scotland finished 2nd in their group but missed out on the play-offs)
October 19, 200916 yr European play-off draw: Ireland- France Portugal- Bosnia Greece- Ukraine Russia- Slovenia Bosnia will be tough... they have really strong forwards...
October 19, 200916 yr Aaah! Bayer Leverkusen! I'll never forget the time I was so excited when Liverpool beat Leverkusen 6-2 on aggregate in the Champions League Last 16 in 2005! I said to myself at the beginning of the 2004-2005 season that Liverpool in the quarter final would be a FANTASTIC result for the team. So imagine how even more amazed and excited I was when they beat Juventus in the next round and imagine the OMG moments when they beat CHELSEA in the semi final in THAT AMAZING Anfield atmosphere! And then the final. Do I have to go on about Liverpool v AC Milan in 2005??! Oh yes, good times! I'm telling you now, nothing will rival that tournament! Too many great moments to mention!
October 19, 200916 yr I very much doubt any Guinness will be flowing in South Africa next year.......................
October 19, 200916 yr I very much doubt any Guinness will be flowing in South Africa next year....................... I'm not sure. I think Ireland are capable of beating France, partly due to the FFA's continued insistence that Eddie Jordan's lookalike continues to manages the side.
October 19, 200916 yr i'm sure of a point: France is the worst team nowadays, but huh i still have a little of hope. and i won't be shocked if we lose or don't go to South Africa. :dozey:

But I believe there's a spark in France that you showed in World Cup 2006, but whether that was to do more with Zidane is anyone's to answer for.
October 20, 200916 yr Gaaah that would suck so much !! They have to beat Ireland, they can if they don't mess around like most of the time :dozey:
