deal! :P

Chile is playing today against Paraguay! it'll be hard considering that they are in the 1st place of the south american competition, they have even more points than Brazil and Argentina!

Cool!

My country's playing against Mexico today, we have 2 points and Mexico has 3, we have to win (So do they) if we wanna have a chance to be in South Africa 2010!

good luck  it seems that your system is different, we don't have groups, it's just everyone against everyone basically :P

You guys have a huge game tonight Carla. If you beat Mexico and we beat or draw Honduras, El Salvador will be catapulted to 3rd place.

Nope we don't have groups is the same thing, El Salvador, USA, Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago, every nation against every nation.

Yessss I know I am so nervous :bomb:... and I couldn't get tickets to go, I am so pissed!

I really hope we win.... btw you play against Honduras right? Good luck, my country plays against them this wednesday in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Six out of six for Eng-er-land!! Easy, easy!!

7 points ahead of 2nd place with 4 games to go :)

Croatia dropped some points tonight against Ukraine, which is good

If England win against Andorra they will have 1 foot in the finals :)

but england doesn't play against proper teams  okay, Croatia's team used to be good, I don't know now... but the other teams... c'mon

we have to play against argentina and brazil and they are always even candidates to win the world cup so our chances are not that big :bigcry:

yeah right :P

And why is Kazakhstan in the European groups anyhow and not in the Asian groups?

Paraguay 0 - Chile 2

Hey El Salvador is winning!

So are we, but Honduras is playing very aggressive and there have been a lot of really close calls by our net in the last ten minutes.

We fuckin WON!!!:bomb:

I have NEVER EVER felt this happy cuz of soccer beforeee!!

btw.. congrats Chris heard you won!:)

I'm SOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!:bigcry:

wow, that's HUGE taking down Mexico! :D Its amazing how poorly they're doing. They're next to last only a point ahead of Trinidad & Tabago, and the only team they've beaten is in 1st place. :\ Hard to imagine Mexico actually missing the world cup, first time since 1982 (and 1st time since 1982 El Salvador made the world cup! :D ).

I know.... that's why this wednesday's match is so important we gotta win in Honduras!:bomb:

But everyone's soooo happy you wouldn't believe it, I wish I had been at the stadium (even if I had gotten wet cuz it rained) but I am happy cuz they won!

Also I've heard that Netherlands, Australia and South Korea have qualified already.

:( f*ck la selecion mexicana... we're crap.... :disappointed:

Who has qualified for South Africa 2010?

Find out who will be playing at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa with BBC Sport's definitive guide to who has qualified and when they wrapped up their place at the finals...

JAPAN (6 June, 2009)

Takeshi Okada's Japan became the first team to book their place after earning a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

Shunji Okazaki grabbed the only goal of the game after nine minutes to book a fourth successive finals berth.

Takeshi Okada: "We played very well. I think we should continue playing this style in the remaining matches."

AUSTRALIA (6 June, 2009)

The Socceroos eased into the World Cup without so much as even conceding a goal in the six matches it took them to qualify.

A 0-0 draw against Qatar in Doha wrapped things up for Pim Verbeek's team after they picked up 14 points in Group A of the final Asian qualifying phase.

SOUTH KOREA (6 June, 2009)

The South Koreans secured a seventh successive World Cup finals place thanks to a 2-0 victory over United Arab Emirates in Dubai.

Park Chu-young and Ki Sung-yueng grabbed the goals as Huh Jung-Moo's outfit strolled to a place in Africa's first World Cup.

THE NETHERLANDS (6 June, 2009)

The Dutch won 2-1 away to Iceland to become the first European side to qualify for next summer's tournament.

Goals from Nigel de Jong and Mark van Bommel put Bert van Marwijk's team in the driving seat before Kristjan Orn Sigurdsson pulled a goal back.

England will get through for certain now.

Mexico really needs to miss it, many things need to change, seriously; but millions of dollars will be lost, and I'm not sure if that's good for economy.

And Chris.... don't worry we'll kick your butt here  You're gonna suffer, like, 3 - 0, or 4 - 0... No one beats Mexico in the Azteca Stadium :smug: (except Costa Rica :uhoh:)

Actually Costa Rica's the only team you've beaten this round, but you guys have been pretty much perfect out of Azteca. I'm pretty sure you guys will mop up T&T, shooting you up to 3rd or 4th...so its up to the U.S. to decide whether or not Mexico is worthy of the World Cup tournament.

whens this game going down??!
