Fix You is about Gwyneth's family dealing with the death of her father, as far as I k now. But I wouldn't be surprised if he's thought of Jonny when singing it.

 

Can someone clarify or not whether What If was in part about Jonny/Coldplay? I seem to remember hearing that Chris wrote if when he was insecure about the band/Jonny not wanting to work with him anymore.

Well, nothing really, I hate being in my moods and not being able to draw. I found out I have stressed a ligament in my right elbow, so I can't draw very well . . . or at all without a brace. It sucks.

at least, i think that's what the quote is. i wrote it from memory. :P it's from the 2005 Kool Haus show, as long as we're talking about the same interview.

I don't know. Lyrically What If doesn't sound like something he'd write for his daughter, but you never know.
