I believe the "bar" comment was on The Ellen show, and I am pretty sure he was joking. He said, "We met in a crowded...bar." It seems like he was teasing interviewers, yet again.

but i think there's really only been one Buckin meeting story... i'm sure they'd seen each other around before actually talking to one another, but the story about Chris hearing Jonny play and then talk to him is the only one i've heard them seriously tell...

 

the stories about how they met Guy, on the other hand -- there are about eighty of those :P
