amsterdam is probably one of the most helpful coldplay songs for me. when i get depressed out this song definitely helps me rage. lol. that's a good thing.

 

i don't know if i like it better live or in studio though. i always found the studio version had more power. in all the live versions i have d/l jonny's guitar is always crazy whack at the break down and it ruins it for me! :P lol.

im getting more and more into this song

Amsterdam was the first song of AROBTTH i heard. it was playing on my cousin car when he was driving me to pick it up Ironicly. i thought it was the best song on the whole album and i am still conviced that.

this was the last song off the album that i got into but now it's one of my favs :P

maybe i should listen to it more often

Amsterdam is my number one song at the moment.

it rocks on the live dvd!!! last song on the encore set (although they come back out to finsih with life is for living)

it still remains one the classic coldplay songs with the nice piano intro, the slow build then blowing off the roof at the end, sort of the protege to their old b-side 'such a rush'.

amsterdam is so beautifull, im still amazed at what a genious chris is with the piano, the melody is so simple but beautifull,amazing,stuning...definatly on my top 3 coldplay songs ever, powerfull song...o and off topic, how awsome is see you soon on dvd?

I started Like of Coldplay, for the sad songs. And Amsterdam act very well, like many others coldplay songs. It's might of the music.

I have only heard the "Live 2003" version and I absolutely love it.

 

I can't believe that it almost didn't make the cut.
