The album is ready and they just want to keep the suspense . . .

We might not have prospekt entries, but stars from the guys are popping up a lot lately, so that can be taken as a positive sign. :D So there might be a release date creeping up soon. Im trying to stay optomistic, this waiting game is driving me crazyyyyy. :P

Maybe they are reading this.. and just laughing at all of us.. they know everything and we could be completly wrong about everything..

 

What do we know for sure?

All things from Prospekt entry can be misleading us.

 

Maybe they are already done, maybe there is nothing recorded in churches.. maybe no Strawberry Swing... maybe all just something else..:nice::wink:

I think there are two distinct possibilities.

 

The silence means:

 

a) The album is done and ready, and will be released in May. With that, we’ll probably have a Prospekt update in the next few weeks that has a plethora of information: title, artwork, track listing, release date, single news, video news. This would make a May/June release entirely plausible. If everything is ready now, they could just be holding out to release all the information at once in a lump post.

 

b) May was the estimated release date back in January/February, but Chris’ had another burst of creativity and has a whole new bank of songs. That means more recording, more mixing and messing with the track listing. If that’s the case, we’d be looking at a release later in the year and perhaps the odd bit of information released over the next few months.

 

I thought tha same things... but now some sites say it will be out in june 16th so who knows why they are waiting so much if they really have finished and decided almost everything...

My suspect is that they want to make the best album ever and untill they're not enough satisfied (it could mean an endless time too) they won't release it... but our hope is that EMI will push them to hurry cause they're looking forward to earning...

Too bad they're on EMI....if they were independent they could pull a radiohead and announce it would be out in 10 days.

 

I'm still waiting for a well-known band to keep everything under-wraps, until suddenly on a Monday announce that the album is out to buy in the shops now.

 

Although that could never happen as the people who would have to keep quiet would be massive

Whenever it happens though, I hope they publish everything at once, seeing as every time they have posted in the past, they have only released little tid bits of information. Having said that, if all the next entry said was "Release Date: May 12th." or "Release Date ≠ June onwards!" I'd be satisfied for quite a while.
