Chris is right...the first thing that jumped to mind for me was Ricky Martin, not Chris Martin,lol. Sorry, but with the 'new, darker sound' they're going for, and the songtitles themselves, this title doesn't fit for me. I'm still sure I'll love the album, but the title doesn't put a smile upon my face.

 

It reminds me of

Live's 5th album...Ed Kowalczyk wanted to call it 'Ecstatic Fanatic', and the fans hated it so much that he ended up calling it V instead,lol.

 

But despite my negative comments, I'm sooooo glad we FINALLY have details!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D

I agree, it's only the album title, and the music will speak for itself. Although I do like the title, I really do.

i think X&Y was a pretty cool album title IMO, and i've always loved the artwork to death. parachutes has always seemed a bit unoriginal to me, and AROBTTH is a good title, i guess, but i've never been a fan of it (the title; the album is my favorite thing EVER). the phrase AROBTTH always puts semi-gory images into my mind, i don't know. it probably has something to do with the eroded/exploded head on the cover as well.

viva la vida isn't my favorite title ever, i'll definitely say that. but i can think of much lamer titles that we'd be bitching about more. and i'm just really happy it's not self-titled. that would have made me smack my forehead and roll my eyes.
