past few days have been great. This one even better! The album name is catchy and will feel better to most over time I think. I like it

Don't like the name.

Album better be something great.

I've created a list of existing albums that either contains viva or la videa or both:smug: SEE THE FIRST ONE:shocked2:

their is also a movie called: "¡Viva la vida! (1969)" (User Rating: 1.4/10 IMDB)

Que Viva La Vida - Belle Perez (Belgium)

La Vida Te Da - Amparanoia

La Vida Que Vendra - Ninety Nine Posse

La Vida Es Un Ratico - Juanes

Livin La Vida Loco - Drunken Cholos

Como La Vida Puede Ser - George Colligan

Gracias A La Vida - Mercedes Sosa

Gracias A La Vida - Joan Baez

Cantandole A La Vida - Pachito Alfonso

He Chocado Con La Vida - Big Boy

But then again, it's never been a crime to have an album of a similar name to another artists.

I Know but I was bored:) a list just for fun

And when Belle Perez's greatest hits called Que viva la vida was only released in Holland.

Remember when In Rainbows was announced?

HAHAHAHAHA

i just laughed so hard at this that people were staring. ohhhh my god.

yes, as i said before and as other people have said since, the TITLE of an album is not going to change my opinion of it whatsoever if it's a good album. there are lots of albums that i love that i'm not crazy about the name--AROBTTH being one of them, to be perfectly honest. as long as the music's good, the title has no bearing on it. and we can't know about the music yet, so whatever. i'm just a bit disappointed that they wasted this opportunity to have a really kick-ass title, but it really doesn't matter that much in the end because it's about the music. just BRING IT ON!!

i'm thinking mid-late may for a single? but what about "song for the escapist" being in the movie the escapist? if that's still in, we'll be getting a new coldplay song on april 11!!! (someone from the UK has to sneak a recorder into the cinema and record it for us if it's not on the soundtrack or if the soundtrack comes out after the film!)

well im a huge fan of coldplay muse and u2. and i dont like the name of the last album of muse but i like the songs '' black holes and reveleations'' its like a name for a department in the nasa no for a album title. but is a awesome album. and the unicorn on the cover of in rainbows speaks for himself(a lo britney spears). guys open youre eyes. dont be shallow its a great album name.:)

I think the album title is absolutely brilliant. It's very Coldplayish to me. 'Viva la vida' is a common phrase; everyone knows it, but you may not use it in everyday language. The same with A Rush of Blood...

When I think of 'Viva la Vida,' I think of living my life to the fullest, so when I look back, I know I have done everything I can and have fulfilled my purpose. So, as you can tell, I'm not worried about this album one bit. :)

Oh man. I've just been on the Coldplay article on Wikipedia. And boy did it give me shivers to see this line:

Viva la Vida (2006–present)

It just makes the whole thing so much more real, you know.

^yes, but it's still very cool to see it in writing like that rather than just "LP4"!!

i'm still squeeing. today (and yesterday) have been SUCH good days for so many reasons. i was in dire need of those :D

^I know, I'm so happy right now. The title is sinking in, and I just can't believe we've got a release date now! Yessss!

I don't care for Viva La Vida, but w/e. I'm just glad is the album coming out soon!!!

So this is the first Coldplay album without a track named after the title? Interesting...unless of course, there is a song called Viva la Vida that we haven't heard about yet.

I don't care for the title right now, but I'm sure it will just become normal seeing it around in a few weeks.

Yeah, hopefully it will be a grower of a title.

I didn't like the name In Rainbows at first.

I think its great to finally have a name to call it by. If Chris Martin likes it, I like it, simple as that. Besides, since when have any of their albums had normal names? I kind of like it and the message it sends out. Good job Coldplay!

‘Well, fuck you, that’s what it’s called, and I’ll be proved to be right eventually’.

-Chris Martin on naming of new album
