for some reason i get the feeling from this new prospekt post that they are definately reading the forums here. just the way he said the ACTUAL title of the album is.... AND WHY ARE THEY IN PORTLAND MAINE?

I like viva la vida more... DAAHF seems a little out there for a Coldplay album and it will make even more people think all of Coldplays music is depressing and about death.

I'm 99% sure the album is double-titled... but i hope they choose just DAOHF

This morning I didn't like VLV because I felt it went against the song titles, but you know? It's growing on me. The contrast occured to me as intentional, even ironic...very Coldplay if you think about it. I'd still prefer DAAHF, but VLV is making more sense. Chris just lost a much-loved Uncle,and maybe he's trying to say that in the midst of death we have to celebrate life. I likie now.

^i never hated VLV, but i don't think it's my favorite album title out there. from sheer sound POV, i like DAAHF much better, but if they decide that VLV fits better and they like it better, then i'm all for that as well.

I think Death and All His Friends sounds kind of stupid.

 

Anyway, if you have a track by that name, Viva la Vida is kind of funny.

hahah soooo true!!But it woul be great if it was both of the names ! Viva la Vida or Death and all his freinds! Sounds cool because they are contrasting one another.

wow... he put quotes around the whole thing so it looks like it really is going to be "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" I actually kinda like it.... a lot. THIS IS MORE PROOF THAT THEY ARE READING COLDPLAYING.COM... they saw we misinterpreted the post so they changed it!
