April 5, 200818 yr i LOVE the bratty strokes lyrics! :D theyre great for when your mad at someone too! i do too! i like it because it's not like rage-filled or anything, it's kind of a matter-of-fact thing that sounds logical. i don't know, but they manage to be the antithesis to coldplay lyric-wise and still be happy and funny. gahhh, i love them. i've been obsessively listening all week, and i haven't really taken off my strokes sweatshirt :D.
April 5, 200818 yr They're just so full of themselves. It seeps through their music. (See the song My Big Mouth)
April 5, 200818 yr Albums that are happy? Well the best example is Stg Pepper's lonely hearts band, brilliantly cherpy album from The Beatles, lots of fun sounds and weirdness. Parklife - Blur - Happy bouncy pop with an eye for detail, parodies British life in a jokey manor. Either Franz Ferdinand albums - all trippy, bouncy and poppy guitar driven music. Oasis - Morning Glory in particular, loud rock music that makes you feel great. Pulp - Great pop band thats pretty unknown, Different Class is a fun and dirty album highly recommended. The Stone Roses - Classic album of the 80's full of good happy songs.

April 8, 200818 yr Gogol Bordello, Franz Ferdinand...fast stuff you can run around and jump up and down and dance to and just freak out when you hear... That's the only way to listen to some music, in my opinion. If you jump up and down, you exercise, and exercise makes you happy. Or something.
April 9, 200818 yr Penny Lane, Don't Stop (Fleetwood Mac), I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - U2, Speed of Sound - Coldplay, Moses - Coldplay..
April 30, 200818 yr Author Thanks everyone. I'll give these bands a try. If there was one album I would think about buying right now, it'd be Radiohead's latest, but that doesn't quite fit into this category.
May 1, 200818 yr Find some ska. Or hardcore or something along these genres ... Mad Caddies Elvis Jackson The Skatalites
May 1, 200818 yr Stars! It's all about falling in and out of love, so some very happy songs and some sadder ones, but never downers in my experience. Look Up (sorry, fanvid) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdPyaFnBQC4
