well, its not like any of the tracks are going to have Chris singing something... the server only let me download those 14 files.... starting from 01... for some reason, there is no 02 on the server, or it is hidden... meh........ I do hear "handclaps" in number 5 and another one........ after actually listenign to it all,,,,,,,,,, its hard to tell if its like........ an orchastra, and some piano notes (from chris ?) some possible handclaps, and maybe one or two drum beats............ the whole thing is fairly slow and orcastra like........... yet i would assume when it is actually relased we will know which tracks are done by them.

interesting none the least, sorry to get anyone exited, it is kinda neat though.

yeah, No 5 and 14 are my candidates for "the tracks on the website most likely to actually be Coldplay".

These open in Quicktime, but they don't produce any sound, even though thye're playing...any thoughts?

Hmm, it works for me. Try playing it on itunes?

Is it just me or is it weird that coldplay provides music for a movie with a lot of violence. I mean they always avoided giving their music for commercial purposes and now they give it to such a movie. I don't get it.

I don't really think they gave away their songs, but from what i understand it's that they actually composed the songs for the movie itself. So it's like original work for the movie and not their LP, unlike other commercial purposes where these companies wanted to use songs off their albums. My 2 cents though

If anyone finds the movie look for the credits, because the actual coldplay song i heard was during the credits at the end

Those Mp3 songs are from Ben Warfish, you can see that in Windows Media Player.

Artist: The Escapist OST

Album: The Escapist OST

Composer: Ben Warfish

Wow! Did you hear it? How was it?

no, i mean i heard from sources that it was at the end, sorry!

I'm going to put money on the song not being on the main soundtrack album (if there is one), but to be used as a b-side to a future single.

Well, I don't think we'll gain anything, as the Movie will be worldwide released after the album comes out so it's..yeah/ we just need to wait for the single
