I'll be at the St. Paul show, you'll be surprised when an 11 year old comes up to you and says "I'm yamfox." :laugh3:

Are you really 11?:shocked2:

Are you really 11?:shocked2:

Actually, yes. Now go tell all your friends

ooh tracie, the facebook group idea is a good one!

all this talk of meeting makes me sad...but if i get free tickets to MSG, then i'll spearhead the meeting-up, no question! :D

Man, if I win MSG tickets and not get the grand prize I'm gonna have to sell them on eBay... because there is no way I can pay for tickets from Iowa to New York.

I don't even know if my best friend will drive to NYC, even though she loves Coldplay. I think I would actually hitch-hike if it was anywhere but NY.

OH MAN. I DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT EBAY.

i bet there are LOTS of people that have entered the MSG contest but probably won't be able to go unless they win the grand prize. i'd DEFINITELY pay to see them, even though pretty much everyone else would be there for free.

i just hope that there aren't too many people out there that entered the contest JUST to sell the tickets and make a huge profit off them. i figure there are lots out there...blergh.

if i got tickets and for some reason i couldn't go, i wouldn't sell them. i'd give them away through coldplaying exclusively, to someone that i KNOW would really appreciate the tickets and really go. but if i do actually get tickets...there's no WAY i'm missing that concert, i don't care if i broke both my legs the day before. as it turns out, we're coming home from vacation that afternoon. lucky for me if i get tickets, we have to drive right through NYC to get home! my dad will just kick me and my mom out of the car, and voila!

I plan on going to the New York one but I might end up going by myself 'cause neither of my friends can't go 'cause of work.. blah! So if I win and you want to go.. let me know hahaha

if i'm reading this correctly, you have a spare ticket that will go to waste if you win... SHOTGUN!! (incase the phrase doesn't have international significance, basically i now get first preference for the spare ticket)

and (although my chances of being there are slim-to-none) i think the CPing member meetup is a great idea

lol. Well played!

I'll probably give the Brixton Academy tix to Ian and Jen if I win them. For all the work they do around here, they deserve them.:)

Updated & bump'd

Last year the brazilian forum did that.

Since the concert was just in one city it was way easier, but what happened was: the board admin made a coldplay banner (everyone who wanted could help pay for it) and every night (he went to the 3 concerts) he would stay at a 'meeting point' with the banner so that everyone could go in together (even though the seats were marked) and keep on socializing before the concert started. At the end of it we would all get together again and walk to a mc donalds while discussing the concert, watching the videos and pics, exchanging e-mails... it was a lot of fun!!!!!

Of course, for the ones who helped pay for the banner, we had a 'bonus': he found out where the band was staying so we 'camped' outside (we were about 15 or 20 ppl) on the first day and managed to get pics, autographs, do videos with the band (except Guy, he didn't come out), etc.

After the first day that we got our 'exclusive' with the boys, the admin told everyone where they were so that if they wanted to try and get... I think in the end pretty much everyone who stayed outside the hotel during one of the 3 days managed to get something...

thanks for the thread Coby

i'll wait for the european extension of this Meetup thing ;)

:o they will play in Europe in december? :o

i didn't knew that :uhoh: that's good :smug: must make a plan once i'll know the exact dates :D

I also had the flashing thing.. because I was using Firefox, so I switched to Internet explorer and it worked fine !

anyone wants to meet me in Paris ? :P (when we'll get a show date..)

for the moment i'm with you

but i'm not very sure:thinking:

anyway i think it's a good idea thanks Cobalt

Alright, people...count me in for the Orlando show!

ahh this is great!

i would love to meet people who love coldplay as much as i do!!

hopefully i'lll go to the dallas or houston one..but it is not confirmed yet!!

i really hope some of us here at coldplaying.com win free tickets!

ive never been to a concert

so um.. how much will front row tickets cost?!?!?!?!

i don't want to see them from far away

this is kind of like a once in a lifetime opportunity for me! and i want to make it worth it!

I'll see if I can man a Cleveland table. Pencil me in, see who might show up (I may be bringing friends, dunno if they'd wanna stand around for a long time.)

^yeah, same for me if i get to go to MSG. i'll either have my mom or friends with me, so that might limit my ability to coordinate people etc. my mom would understand, so if that's how it ends up then i could probably definitely do it, but if i end up going with a friend...not so much. i think they'd be weirded out by more than a few minutes of "hey, how are you's" so we'll see how it all ends up on june 5!

It's better to arrange to meet earlier in the day at a cafe or resto. THat way there's lots of time to chat without hanging around the venue wondering who/where everyone is. (But I know if you go with friends that doesn't always work out.) It's a good idea to have a place to meet after too for people who want to party since not everyone is in the same part of the venue.

Yeap.... But we would split the expenses though:p

Updated.

Also - I am not organising this for you. You must organise this amongst yourselves and then tell me who is coming etc. so I can make a list.

Oh, and take lotsa photos and videos, because I'll probably make a compilation video of them once this is done next year ^^
