I wonder if my dad ever knew I liked Coldplay... random thought....

My dad was always like a Rolling Stones fan haha.

He passed away about 4 and a half months ago though. :/ and Coldplay songs have helped me a lot.

 

I remember the day he died, I went over to my aunts, and I was just completely overwhelmed and defeated so I just sat on the couch and sang Strawberry Swing to myself... it was a peaceful moment, I tell you.

 

I'm so sorry about your dad, I really am. It's amazing how Coldplay songs can help us with our lives. There are so many situations, where, if I never heared thier songs I wouldn't know what to do. Thier songs can even help with something like starting a new school. It's truely amazing.

That's awesome. :) I really really really wish I had friends who loved Coldplay as much as I do.

I have to admit now:

They are my life.

I can't tell people that because my mom thinks I'm crazy already (if you read before, I needed an intervention)

but I can't go 5 minutes without thinking about them.

I'd say 85% percent of my life is Coldplay, 15% is performing arts (I love doing plays).

This is why i don't get it when people tell me, "It's just one band!". Coldplay is a lifestyle, they make you happy, pick you up when you're sad, educate you, give you something to do, make you more creative, and i think best of all, cause you to make new friends, some of which are the best friends i have! They take up all my time and energy which is completely perfect in my eyes!

That's true, I never thought about that! I think being a fan really of any band is a lifestyle, you really immerse yourself into everything about them. Haha.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make friends from my obsession. xD It just makes people pissed at me.

Yes, I am very very fortunate that somehow magically all three of us LOVE them! We didn't even have to struggle about getting anyone obsessed! I feel like Coldplay was put into my life to bring me closer to these two and to show me who my real friends are!:D cheesy but true

Yeah, and Fix You.... as we all realize it, it's the most relatable song in the world about grief, ha, if that makes sense. Chris finds the words that I couldn't and I still can't.

I don't mean to talk about it a lot but I'm still in a lot of pain from his death so when I have hard times I always listen to that song....

For me I wouldn't say that Coldplay is my WHOLE life... but it's a very huge part of it. I'm also obbssed with Harry Potter, Art, and Taking pictues... But Coldplay is my biggest obsession.
