The gig was great, they sounded really on form, and for me I think Lost was my favourite live off the new album, it just sounded better live I think than on the album.

 

With regards to the crowd, the sounded great and all sang along. But what I meant is they were all rather static and didn't move much which is the only bad point of it all.

 

I enjoyed myself and if anyone didn't I couldn't tell you why.

 

Does anyone have the tracklisting? Im sure that the rip will be on rapidshare tommorow hopefully, we will see.

and is it just me, or has Chris really beefed up recently?

There's pretty bad review of this gig in the new issue of NME.

 

The reviewer compares them to U2 and said Coldplay are nothing in comparison. She calls them bland, flat and predictable and says even the strongest of their new songs can never replace The Scientist in the set. She also called the acoustic set novelty and said that they've flattened Yellow which is 'the best song Chris will ever write.'

 

People who buy and read the NME are as mental as the people who write it.

 

It's the biggest load of tosh on the market. Talk about building people up and knocking them down. I hate the NME, quite frankly, its crap.

Ha it's a good job it wasn't a copy I had bought that I saw it in, otherwise I'd be quite offended :P

I'm compiling all of the videos that we've gotten so far, and I've got all the performances except for the most of Trouble and all of GPASUYF, seems nobody recorded them, so if you've got one of those two PM me

I bought NME for the first time in many MANY years for the VH single, and quite enjoyed reading it, but that was probably just because I felt like a giddy fifteen year old again :laugh3: When I was that age all the NME did was build people up for a year or two and then knock them for six months till the band disbanded or someone committed suicide, seems like it still does? Melody Maker was far better, shame it closed down. In fact, now we're talking about it, I'm tempted to change my sig to 'don't read any editorial in the NME'.
