The show is longer than some of the shows I have been to which have pushed being an hour max

 

Come on, let's be honest, 73 minutes onstage for the best band in the world? That hardly cuts it. U2 and Radiohead both play well upwards of 2 hours. Coldplay has 4 albums now, plus a massive catalog of awesome B-sides and cover ideas they could do if they wanted. Anything like 16 songs and 90 minutes is a disappointment.

 

No one can complain now because these are free shows, but if they do this for the actual tour itself, I can foresee problems. When you start charging upwards of $100 a ticket, you better play like the big boys.

 

All this coming from a diehard Coldplay fan. Don't mean to slag off on the band too much, but it's just an honest opinion.

The gig was superb tonight. I'm posting off my phone on my way home. Tommorow morning I will upload some good pics. Plus i have some superb full videos with perfect sound, il put the on youtube and il host the files somewhere. I'm gonna get home in an hour n get some sleep me thinks. Great night!

Ps I was about six rows from the front, and I got there at about 7:20. The crowd were very dull tbh. Not much movement, other than that brilliant! Speak to every1 tommorow

The gig was great, they sounded really on form, and for me I think Lost was my favourite live off the new album, it just sounded better live I think than on the album.

 

With regards to the crowd, the sounded great and all sang along. But what I meant is they were all rather static and didn't move much which is the only bad point of it all.

 

I enjoyed myself and if anyone didn't I couldn't tell you why.

 

Does anyone have the tracklisting? Im sure that the rip will be on rapidshare tommorow hopefully, we will see.

yh...well i got there at about 5 ish....doors opened at 6.30 and coldplay came on at 8.45...so....my legs were giving up lol...but it was worth it, I have to say...

From what I listened so far, Chris singing is so much better! Yay :D He complaining about messing up things in the piano in 42 was sweet :P

Just re-listening to the MP3's, I don't think the radio broadcast does it justice, I think it was an amazing concert, despite being seated quite far from the stage. Highlights for me were God put a Smile.... very envious of the person at the end who got Chris' guitar, Will singing and Yellow. The band were on top form tonight. As for the length of the set, I really don't think the actual tour will be that short, anyway you can't complain when the gig was free!!! Can't wait for the BBC gig on Wednesday!

hahaha...he was up on the upper tier singing Yellow...and well...he directed it at all the ladies in the audience, kinda went with the song lol.

 

Will Champion' solo was good, crowd joined in lol...lucky girl at the front abt 5 metres from me to the right got the broken guitar!!! GRRRR!!!!!!!! :(
