MSG comp on amazon.co.uk and amazon.com

Featured Replies

There is a competition running similer to the one that was on coldplay.com 4 the MSG concert for people in the UK:

British rockers Coldplay, arguably the biggest band in the world right now, are releasing their fourth studio album: Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends. To celebrate, we're giving you the chance to win the ultimate Coldplay experience: we'll fly you and a friend to New York and give you tickets to see Coldplay perform live at Madison Square Garden on Monday 23rd June 2008.

Runner Up Prizes: a limited number of lucky runners up will receive a Coldplay tour bundle, including a signed CD booklet and tour t-shirt.

This is only for people in the UK as the flight is from London airport

EDIT: For US go to Amazon.com the smae comp is running

Yeah I got the email...and then saw it was only for US or UK residents...obviously :dozey:

I don´t get an e-mail...

but probably it doesn´t even work for people outside the uk or usa

^ now it's a triple :P

So they also got tickets! Coldplay.com isn't the only site were you can win tickets. On the Dutch site bol.com you can also win tickets for Brixton.

oops, double post :P the forum is a little slow

any chance someone can post the link for amazon.com to the contest? i can't find it.

link for US contest ! Hope you guys win

thanks, chavi!!

hmm, but for the US contest you could also win the london tickets...and i physically couldn't go to the london concert even if i did win the airfare.

ah, well, i entered anyway :D. it's not like i'm going to win :P

ahh, in reading the fine print, i find that the US and UK contests are slightly different. the UK one is to win tickets to the free MSG concert, whereas i think you can win NYC MSG tickets in the US one, but the grand prize is to win tickets to A london concert. it looks like they'll be playing london in december or so, so i'm in the clear if i win! ()

^just for clarification to people looking to enter the US contest :D

Haha, while filling out the form to enter, I just remembered my house number is '42'! I mean I always thought it was cool, being the answer to life and the universe and everything, but its even COOLER now that its a Coldplay song. Hooray!

Wow I'm being completely random today.

But wouldn't this be a lovely birthday present :nice:

[/wishful_thinking_to_the_extreme]

haha, i wish my house number was 42! i guess i just have to hope for coldplay to come out with a song called "2"

to see coldplay in london at christmas...:dead:

well, not like it's happening :P

^To see Coldplay in London at Christmas, while its SNOWING. That would be awesome :D

Coming to London 2x in one year? And once for Coldplay? That would truly be the best year ever!

BTW, I assume a free flight up to NYC would come with a free tickets for a return journey, right? I mean that would obviously make sense, but I'm not sure.

ahhh, stop it, semy, you're making me too hopeful :P

london+christmas+snow+coldplay= :dead:

i'm pretty sure through the amazon UK contest, the airfare is covered both ways, (if i remember the fine print correctly) but i think you have to arrange for transport to and from the airport on both ends (NOT fun in america...we make it very difficult), and that you have to do the whole hotel thing yourself. but just think...everything is half as expensive over here for you! :D

If I got to see Coldplay AND go to New York I'd die of happiness! :stunned:

Ah ok, thanks for the heads up! :D I figured as much, but I just wanted to be sure, you know. JUSSSSSST in case :P

And hey, you never know, Chelsea. If those opportunities that have already opened up for you this past year are anything to go by, then a ticket to london would not surprise me

Being realistic though, you already have a fantastic year ahead of you, so just make sure you make the most of it and enjoy it while you can :D

And please slap me if i decide to go off topic like this again. And I don't even know why I'm stating the obvious anyway, heh :dozey:

I don't think its that wonderful, I think its so unfair for people like me who wanna enter but live outside the UK and US, so blimin onesided if you ask me :veryangry::veryangry::veryangry:you poms and yanks get it all :veryangry::veryangry::veryangry:

Oh wonderful news!
