I gave Coldplaying one last check about 4pm (GMT) yesterday...was hoping for maybe a leak of one more song, nothing then...I went to a party, came back about 12am and saw a thread entitled 'IT'S LEAKED!!'...I honestly thought nothing of it, and thought pfft another hoax...Looked inside, saw all the replies and it hit me....I downloaded and stayed up til 2am listening.

 

Now I must say the entire album is AWESOME! Each song is growing on me so much, I can't stop listening :)

I didn't think it was true at first, but when i realized it was i couln't believe it, downloaded it and listened to all the songs over and over.....:P

Yesterday was the day of all days. Our finale days. It was so surreal.... I see it was leaked.... then jump up and down dancing. My hearts racing. I even posted links in a new thread to the new songs... that's how much i was thinking. posting fucking links in a thread.... wow.. but yeah, yesterday was fantastic. I never would've thought that yesterday was going to be lkike that when i woke up in the morning. Just another normal Coldplaying day until...

You know, Chris Martin's lyrics couldn't have said it better in Strawberry Swing. It was such a perfect day. I thought about that lying in bed last night looking up at the ceiling listening to that song. "it's such a perfect day"

You know, it was funny because I was getting on the computer to see if anything was happening over here but I was checking other things and forgot about it, so I finally came on here and checked and saw the IT'S LEAKED threads, and at the time only 3 songs had leaked and I was thinking "well, where's the rest?" and then we finally decided to go to the JT forums and got them all from there.

 

But it's pretty cool that we were a part of the original leak that everyone else is downloading now, and of course cedric is now famous worldwide because he was the one who did it, he and his friends.

 

I remember seeing on Perez Hilton about it being leaked and I was like "Yep! I was part of that!" but it was great, it was a little annoying to work out all of the downloading issues (rapidshare is gay) but we finally got it, and I've probably downloaded about 3 different versions of the album since then trying to find the best version, but it's funny because EMI is still taking down any torrents that pop up.

My experience of listening to the album all the way through for the first time may be the greatest ever!! I logged on here to discover that the album had leaked. I spent the next few hours attempting to gather all the songs in an mp3 format, so I could finally listen in all its glory. Meanwhile, there's a terrible thunderstorm outside, and apparently a tornado warning that I was not aware of until later in the day. None of that mattered! I FINALLY had the album to listen to!!! I listened to practically the whole thing and was completely blown away. I went over to my friend's house and told him he had to hear it. So we got in his car and drove off.

 

As soon as we began driving, we noticed that the clouds were incredibly dark. Another storm was coming. Cemeteries of London had begun to play...it fit perfectly. The rain started and it was awful. We drove all the way to a parking garage at our destination, getting through 'Lost!' and '42' in the process. We stopped in the parking garage and watched the rain as 'Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love' echoed through the structure. One of our friends called us and asked us to meet her back in our hometown. The rain had died down just a bit, so we decided to do so.

 

We got through 'Yes!/Chinese Sleep Chant', and I skipped Viva La Vida and Violet Hill as we were almost home and he had heard both those songs before. Then we got to Strawberry Swing...and that's where the magic began. About 1/3 of the way through the song, when they started singing "it's such a perfect day", we looked to our left, and in the midst of all this darkness and rain, the sun had come out. It was beautiful...I couldn't believe how perfectly it fit the song.

 

Then 'Death and All His Friends' came on...we were nearly home and the sun had come out on the left side of the world, but we were still in the storm. In the midst of the song we turned to our right and the most amazing rainbow I have ever seen appeared. It was a FULL rainbow...I'd never seen anything like that for the longest time. The sun was over our area and the rain had let up a bit. We got back to his house...and the album was over.

 

It was amazing. I couldn't believe how incredible that experience was.

ok, so here's my story.

 

it was exactly noon my time, and i was still in bed (i always am :P). i was thinking about getting up, though, when i heard my cell phone beep across the room because it got a text message. now, i have facebook mobile alerts pretty much precisely for me to be alerted to coldplay news, so i immediately thought "hmm. what are the odds that this text message is from facebook telling me semy wrote on my wall telling me the album leaked?" i laughed a little and said "slim."

but, because the thought had entered my mind, i just HAD to check my phone. so i rolled out of bed, found my cell phone on my floor, and opened it. i saw that the text was from facebook, and i opened the message, and it was from semy.

and it said "HOLY SHIT CHELSEA, IT LEAKED. THE WHOLE ALBUM."

and i screamed and ran for the computer.

 

and then i spent a significant amount of time stalking the justin timberlake forum for all the links, because for once in my life i was going to make myself be patient and wait until we got them all before listening to the album. i lasted pretty damn long too, but once we were waiting for LIT, which never actually came, i said "screw it" and listened.

 

aaaaaaaand it was on loop for the rest of the day.

Well my story,

 

 

I woke up, I walked into the kitchen... got something to eat. I came back in my bedroom and decided to go to Coldplaying.com like I always do. The night before I was chatting on Lounge Games so I was going to go there but I had to check the Coldplay section first to see if any news came up like always. Then I see it's leaked. At first I thought of Rick Roll. I was like, that things locked in a vault somewhere, there's absolutely no way.... then I download.... I listen to 42... and i'm like, this sounds a little familiar. I remember the lyrics off of Winigwl's signature and i'm thinking.... THIS IS IT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMG! 4242424242424242442424242424 :dance:

 

Then, my alter ego came... destroyed some threads....

 

Then, I just had a blast! What a day it was.... *sigh* if only we could relive it.

I was driving to the grocery store and Coldplay came on the radio and I almost crashed the car. That was the start of it all. I swear there must have been Coldplay vibes floating around yesterday, because all I could think of was how much I wanted to hear the album and how much I wanted to go to the MSG show. So as soon as I got I home I checked my email right away (nothing about the MSG show... darn) and thought, "hmmm, I should check the thread to see if anyone else heard." The first thing that tipped me off was that Coldplaying.com was taking FOREVER to load. The only other time it took that long to load was when Violet Hill was released. So I knew something was up, and I went right to the forum and saw the leak thread. It was so weird, it was almost like I knew it would be there!! It took me forever to DL everything (and convert the stupid WMAs) and after about an hour I had the full album. Then I sat, staring at my computer for a good 45 minutes in shock, and wondering if I should just give in and listen. I saw the ridiculous amount of threads on here about how awesome the album was, so I was like, fuck it, I need to hear this now. And I never looked back :D.

My experience...I teared up a little when I found it..then teared up some more when I knew it was real....got goosebumps listening to it..i truly love every single song!

I was having a pretty shitty day to put it frankly. I got home early around 12pm and I logged in. The first thing I see is "IT LEAKED" and I thought for sure it was a joke or something lol. I almost cried when I was having trouble downloading it! But luckily I got my hands on it and now I'm in the best mood I've been in in months. Coldplay has that effect.

 

Anyway the entire album is fantastic and I'm not exaggerating at all. Its huge in a whole new way. They've really stepped it up on a entirely new level with this album. I did not know I could love Coldplay more than I did...

Like I've said somewhere else, I discovered the big news by accident last night in the wee hours of the morning. I spent the good part of the one o'clock hour listening to it (a combination of YouTube and MySpace, since I had Viva la Vida on my MySpace and couldn't find it on YouTube).

 

I listened to it in order and was blown away. I could hardly believe, first of all, that I was even listening to it, and second of all it's just brilliant. I must've been dancing like Chris Martin giving a performance for about half the album. It was awesome.

 

All I can say is job well done Coldplay! A real magnum opus! Can't wait to buy the real thing!
