I actually don't want to see Blackburn get relegated, as much as I can't stand Keans blind positivity (I still can't work out if thats a good quality or bad one for the club- its definitely annoying though). Newcastle have gone up in my estimation and I'm envious of their fans. Not many wanted Pardew but they backed him and cheered him from the start. You always get behind the team too, regardless of the off field shenanigans (or at least as an outsider it appears that way, I'm sure you know much more about your own fans than I do) and you protest in a proper way. As for Kean, he has to be all about man motivation. He isn't a tactical genius (not that he is as tactically inept as people suggest as more often than not he does a very decent job in setting us up) so he has to rely on keeping spirits up. For me it's a welcome change from Allardarse blaming absolutely everybody else but himself, whether it be the strikers for failing to convert half chances, referees or even height, which he pointed out whenever one of our big lads had been out for the game.

And by the shenanigans I meant Ashley. I've become far to connected from the so called fans that I honestly don't believe the bridge will be rebuilt. I'd rather we play behind closed doors and I miss the game, than we play at Ewood park, right now. It's so unbearable.

Ahh those shenanigans, I was upset that Keegan left, but also aware that Keegan can be a fussy bastard to work with. I can see where the outrage came from, we seemed to be doing very well and the nostalgia of the Keegan years kicks in, but I really doubt he was 'pushed out', I just think he didn't get everything he wanted, felt like a messiah and acted like the quitter we're used to. Pardew on the other hand was given around the same transfer budget that we would've had without selling Andy Carroll, and he's just got on with it and brought in quality like Ba and Cabaye. I wouldn't be happy to be a Blackburn fan either right now, I recall the boo patrol recently stating they'd give him 2 games to get a point, got to a game and a half. Booing your team while theyre playing on the pitch (Whether thats the intention or not- that negativity is obviously received by players who are trying to focus) is ridiculous enough as it is without making a promise like that and not being able to keep it is plain sick. We've now become accustomed to Rovers fans booing during a match but we forget how awful it really is.

Thought we were in for a really hard evening from that point onwards.

December 31, 201114 yr Bellamy's freekick last night: Danny Simpson puts off Krul by getting in his eyeline, then stands directly infront of him, then lets the ball smack off his mouth and bounce into the net when Krul would've easily caught/parried. I think Stevie G would've probably taken the game anyway, he was incredible when he got settled and up until that point we were calmly passing it around and pressing. Regardless, Simpson, who is rejecting a much improved contract offer, hasn't been much more then average for us, and who doesn't have any clubs interest to my knowledge, made this an uphill task in an instant. It's of course annoying to see a defender make any sort of mistake, like a poor back pass, but that's just a mistake in the heat of the moment, seeing one of our defenders trying intentionally to defend a 30 yard free kick by standing infront of the goalkeeper was just sickening. Yes I'm going on, but I can't stand that little bastard.

With Chelsea and Arsenal drawing we are still in with a shout of fourth going into the new year. Third is probs a step too far, what with Spurs playing out of their skin at the moment!

He's always been pretty average and I think Newcastle can do better than him. Ryan Taylor is better than him but he's more of a left-back i suppose
