Tickets

Any passwords out there? Where's the best website to buy tickets for the Bay Area concert?

For those that have bought online in the past:

Have you found it more advantageous to buy via presale or to wait for the general sale?

I know all the tickets aren't available during a presale, so I suppose the best thing to do might be to try for the presale, and then if unsatisfied with the selection wait for the general sale?

Good question!

I've never bought tix through a presale before and would really like to know before the one tomorrow. I've only bought tix online twice anyway, TSO for me and Nickelback for my daughter.

I'd love to have really good seats, but I'm kind of afraid that if I wait for the general sale, I may miss out altogether.

Geeze, this has me stressed.

i wonder. i got good seats on the presale, but will the front row seats be available tomorrow? that's a good question. i will try again then. worst comes to worst, i have three sets of tickets and two sets to sell. i should have no trouble selling them at face value with good seats, right?

It really depends on what kind of seats you want. With my experience today through the pre-sale, I was looking for Sections 1, 2, or 3, but only found them available if you were just purchasing 1 ticket, and in the very last row at that. Every other section seemed to be on sale and easy to purchase. As for me, I'm waiting until the general sale.

You won't have any problem considering most will try to sell at 150% + off the face value price. :( Boo to scalpers!

i have always been satisfied with my presale tickets..so hopefully i am today as well..one more hour for me! wish me luck guys!!

Crap, I don't know what to do. I rally can't afford to buy 2 sets of tix right now. Well, I could, but I figure my family would like to have groceries next week.

I can only afford to buy 3 right now. Just look at the pre-sale, and if you don't like the tickets, go for general. I don't know, I just have a feeling that I'll have better luck with the general sale. If I'm going to pay $97, I want to be in the front 3 sections, lol.

where do you suggest buying normal tickets? on livenation again or ticketmaster?

the show in Missouri.

thanks for the offer though, I appreciate it! :)

If Charlotte was on the TicketMaster website I would use them in a heartbeat, but right now only LiveNation is selling.

Oh my gosh, you could sell one to me. I want to travel to NC, but I've trying to buy a ticket today and every offer sucks more than the other.

Also, try going now on Live Nation. One search did offer me a ticket in Section 1, Row P (good seat it seems). I just don't want to spend that much if I still don't know if I can get to NC from Florida

Since Ticket Rush tix are not refundable, I'll wait til tomorrow to buy a lawn tix that I can hopefully refund.

The Missouri show isn't on TicketMaster either. I wonder why. I've bought through them before.

Hi folks!

Generally, there is no better way to get tickets. I used to work for ticketmaster-i auditted their systems and accounts. Generally most of the best seats never make it on-sale to the public. The best seats go to venue promoters, band, record company etc. Presales are better than average tickets but not the best.

General sale will usually have the best of what is left. Then we have ticketmaster auctions for premium seats. So to get great seats for coldplay means essentially paying a premium or hoping you know someone. I can verfiy that seldom did many seats in the first five rows ever make general sale-only a few bands have fair access radiohead, RATM, ACDC are the biggest names to do so. Coldplay allow the premium seat auctions, something I am very against. Essentially it means you have to pay more than $125 per seat-and Ticketmaster and the band share the profits.

Hope that helps! I am more than happy to answer any queries!

That's why standing areas are the fairest way.;)
