May 17, 200818 yr Only certain venues offer general admission! The MGM Grand in Las Vegas is all-seater. GA is best! Dang, I wish coldplay were playing the pearl-at the palms casino! That is a super venue with GA.
May 17, 200818 yr *moved to Live section* I would think that is the best place to answer your questions
May 20, 200818 yr TICKETMASTER auctions Don't forget .. you can have the best seats for EVERY Coldplay show on Ticketmaster auctions !!! example: http://www.ticketmaster.com/auction/15004088CB4F6A33/1/?tm_link=edp_auction
May 21, 200818 yr Question about the presales Can anyone please help me figure out something that has been confusing me...a lot!?? Have the Houston and Dallas, Texas presales gone on yet? A few sites I get tickets from occasionally have some really great seats and I don't know if I missed the presale and if I should just buy the tickets third party, or what.
May 22, 200818 yr although there are still 19 hours left on the d.c. auction as of now you can put in for 2 tickets next to the stage for maybe $7 more a ticket then what you would pay after all the ticketmaster fees.
May 22, 200818 yr I'm in the same boat as you. Don't worry. From my understanding, the dallas pre-sale hasn't happened yet.
May 22, 200818 yr Disregard that last post. Apparently you CAN buy coldplay presale tickets right now. As long as you have the best buy passcode.
May 23, 200818 yr although there are still 19 hours left on the d.c. auction as of now you can put in for 2 tickets next to the stage for maybe $7 more a ticket then what you would pay after all the ticketmaster fees. that's what I gonna do :D
May 23, 200818 yr Disregard that last post. Apparently you CAN buy coldplay presale tickets right now. As long as you have the best buy passcode. Is that just for the dallas show or all of them in the US? Im gonna be angry if Chicago presale went on sale
May 23, 200818 yr Disregard that last post. Apparently you CAN buy coldplay presale tickets right now. As long as you have the best buy passcode. Where are you seeing this? I don't see it on TM or LiveNation... I'm a RewardZone member...just waiting on word for additional presale codes for the later shows (FL). Nothing shows on the RewardZone website yet.
May 25, 200818 yr Tickets on sale that aren't supposed to be...?? I was looking ebay just being curious for the Atlanta show on Novmeber 11th. Of course no listings showed up, but at the bottem some brokers showed up and I clicked on them, they had about 100 tickets for the show, which Coldplay annonoced that the tix go on sale June 14th. Do they get tickets first or something? :veryangry2:
May 25, 200818 yr The Atlanta show is at the Philips sponsored arena, so Philips gets a number of tickets to giveaway. Also, you get employees of the arena able to get ticktes in advance and some other patrons pay a retainer to get seats for every show. This is how the system works i'm afraid. Hope that answers your question.
May 25, 200818 yr Yes, thank you. Damn them. I hope theyre are still front rowers avaible or at least front sections.
May 26, 200818 yr loads of sites in the uk advertise in advance that they have great tickets before actual sale dates....its rubbish.they take orders in advance at high prices...then try to meet the orders later in real sales or from ebay..its a lottery from the start.usually a load of bullsh..
May 27, 200818 yr Ticket prices? Has anybody got any idea of the ticket prices?let's hope they're not to expensive as I'm hoping to go to at least two of the uk shows
May 27, 200818 yr Thank you very much!!! So it will probably be about £40 a ticket..........mm that's not bad
May 27, 200818 yr you're welcome. was looking before to see if I could do a summary but MEN Arena, NIA, O2 etc haven't listed the shows yet
May 28, 200818 yr PEOPLE WHO HAVE BOUGHT TICKETS ONLINE BEFORE!! I NEED YOUR HELP. I'm looking online for tickets for london now (I know they don't go on sale til friday) and there are a few sites where you can buy them already. but they're priced as much as £160 - £190 for ONE ticket. is that how much they normally cost?? I can afford one, but I think they might be charging ALOT of excess considering they're selling them earlier than normal? any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance. Jamie
May 28, 200818 yr From an interview I watched/read floating around they said they wanted to keep ticket prices relatively cheap... What sort of site is it? I personally wouldn't buy it from a site that isn't "official". Some may be selling the tickets without owning them, and then buying tickets the day they go on sale and passing it on. Others may already have tickets and be charging ridiculous amounts over. Its hard to say. With concerts like this I usually aim to get tickets in a pre-sale, plan B buy tickets when they are available to the public, and then plan C buy from eBay or a site like you are describing. But thats just me. :)
May 28, 200818 yr Pre-sale tickets are tickets that go on sale to fans, usually through a fan club, tour promoter, special event, etc before they are released for general sale (that is, anyone can buy one). Pre-sale tickets ususally involve having to have a code, or be a member of something. Hope that kinda makes sense :P
