i love coldplay dont get me wrong but honestly it seemed like they rushed to put out tour dates and sell tickets and now they are pushing all of the dates back?! WTF! luckily its on a saturday and i dont have to take time off of work but really, set a date and stick to it. i would have been LIVID if i bought tickets to a show i could go to originally and then they changed it and i couldnt go. ugh

Annoyed yes....is it their fault no. I'm sure Coldplay didn't go out of their way to piss people off. They probably said hey can you guys have the production ready by this date and the production team said yeah but then let them down. There is more to Coldplay than just Chris, Will, Guy and Jonny. If fact they probably have the least amount of say in what goes on when you look at what it takes to book a venue, release and album, etc...so I wouldn't blame them 100%

i know... its just unsettling... like im going to hold my breath until the concert now hoping itll still go on

i'm sure all the concerts will still go ahead reagardless if some dates are changed. it it unfortunate for some that they don't get the chance to go on the initial day some of the shows were scheduled for but it's certainly not their fault. they wouldn't do that on purpose as it isn't in their best interest to do so, we are their fans after all :D

so yes, vent away and i'm sure others will rightly do, but the dates are as they are and sometimes things just can't be helped. enjoy the show though, i'm sure they will not fail to please :nice:

I'm pissed. My show got moved from Sunday July 6th to TUESDAY OCTOBER 21ST.

Now I have to call off work AND drive home from the show right after it ends.

I live in Cincinnati and the show is in Cleveland. Thats a 5-6 hour drive. This is absurd.

Thank God this album is incredible or I would be sending my tickets back and just seeing them when they tour the 'states again next year. Everyone else just got their show pushed back a month or so and Cleveland got completely f-ed in the a-hole.

I'm annoyed, but not angry with the band. The issue is some 'Production' that they can't have ready in time, and maybe they could have been a bit les ambitious in planning big shows, but like I said elsewhere, tours are a huge thing to put together. Shit happens, lol. I'm probably not going to go to Toronto now, which really sucks because I was meeting people there, but Hopefully I can get to Montreal or Ottawa instead.

yeah.. i know its not the bands fault... i was just SO excited... and now im bummed they moved it.... but very thankful i can still go.....

IT turns out I can actually go to the new show!! I'm still sad because some of my friends can't meet me there now, but at least we still have them on tour. And, I don't mean to be rude to you guys that got postponed, but now I only have to wait til July instead of October. Please don't throw stuff at me,lol.

haha glad to hear it.... i only have to wait a month myself.... and please dont throw anything at me either

Haha, glad it's working out for you! The date changes might help me as well actually, because before I wasn't able to go to the Philadelphia show, but now I might!

Although, I can't go to Toronto now, and I was planning to in October.

So I guess it evened out for me.

And I have lost aprox. $400 in nonchangeable flight/hotel/car package! I had first row seat on first level next to stage! I can't afford new flight/hotel/car additional and more expensive than original booked. And was part of the first night sign gang! I am disappointed yes, but I can see them later this year in Orlando. Right now all the "shine" has worn off. Maybe by November I will be feeling better! It was bad business decision for myself to book a discount package that I couldn't change... stupid me! But bad business decision for the band's tour management to go ahead with tour announcement when they were not ready!

wow im really sorry that is awful. i feel like a shithead for complaining and all i have to do is wait longer.... but i dont think it was a bad decision on your part at all- i wouldve done the same, you should be able to plan in advance!

I'm annoyed because I had 14th row tickets to see the band in Detroit on July 5th. I won't be able to go to the November 3 rescheduled date because I will be in Vancouver.

However, at the same time, I completely understand. These things do happen.

I'm just happy that I can now see them in Toronto, as that show is now taking place next month [instead of October]. I just hope I can get some decent tickets.

I'm just frustrated because I've been waiting for YEARS to go to my first Coldplay concert, and now I'm cutting it really close! The 7/2 date was great, but now it's 8/3, which is the day I get home from England... So if any of my flights are delayed, I am SCREWED. Plus the jetlag's going to be terrible. But it's worth it, right?? And I've been so worried that they were just going to cancel it, I'm SO grateful that they didn't. I feel badly for Omaha- we took their date!

Plus I'm holding my breath waiting for them to change the date AGAIN, in which case I can't go, seeing as I've already changed my flights around once...

I really hope they are able to reschedule their western Canada tour dates, but I'm not holding my breath.

I know it's not the bands fault, but it sucks to get excited about Coldplay coming to town....only to have them completely cancel the show :(

I'll say the same thing to you as I did to someone else last night - would you rather see them soon in a half-arsed show, or wait a little longer and see them at their best.

I'm sure the magic balls will be worth it!

since they changed the dates

i have to miss school to go see it

but ya know

i don't mind ;p

Phoenix show was moved to a date when I can't go, so that's me eating a ticket and sitting 3 days in the July Phoenix heat Coldplayless because my flight and stuff aren't refundable.

Toronto birthday trip now off as shows are changed. Happy fucking birthday to me.

Hey, someone in the band sick. Cancel or move the show. Someone's family member sick, same thing.

Production delays...that's just bullshit. A lot of people have spent a lot of their hard earned money, and it's just sucks.

Here, here! I am in the same little pond as you, I guess I am upset about the big chunk of nonrefundable monies... "The Big Fish Ate MY MONEY!"

Had awesome seats for the Cleveland show on Sunday, July 6th. Pushed back four months to a Tuesday in October. One of my friends will be back at college in North Carolina, another will be back in classes at OSU and I can't take off work and it wouldn't matter if I could since neither of them can go. I understand it's not the band's fault but it still sucks.

At least everyone else's has been rescheduled, Omaha's was completely taken off, so I am pissed/annoyed

Ill be more annoyed when the $100 floor seat i buy only witnessess 16song setlists. you have 4 albums, play for 2hrs already...coldplays notorious short sets are what pisses me off.
