Welsh should have been included in its own right.:dozey:

Oh I don't know, I think it was fine being included in its own left.

British, Scottish, Irish, Glasgow and Autstralian

^ I believe I know a puppy who can claim all those nationalities :dozey:

RECEIVED PRONUNCIATION FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's why I voted for British.

But also Italian and French!

It's not a great poll because there's a bunch of different British accents. It might not sound like it to Americans or Australians but if you put me (from Newcastle) and someone (from London) together you'd notice a massive difference.

i pretty much noticed that during my trips in England.

I was shocked how different everyone sounded..i understood some of them easily but others...well, not so easy to understand!

What I said in the other poll.

Except I forgot Newfie. They have the greatest accents. It sounds a little like americanized Irish, but totally different at the same time. According to some linguists it's rooted in what an Irish accent would have sounded like about 400 years ago- the island has been so isolated for so much of it's history it worked as a sort of time capsule.

british........... i so have a thing for british guys, they just sound so sexy!!:embarassed:

I absolutely hate my accent!

Not all Finns get legless on holiday, either.

Not all Finns have a sick dog that they have to keep their eye on all day, either.

Plus i never mentioned anything about you or your accent. I just said that not all of them are sexy so go roll those eyes somewhere else, will you?

I like Ben Lee's crazy hair.

Yeah, that has nothing to do with accents, but whatever.
