Dejan
Do y'all like to see this band as opening act before one of the coldplay shows in u.k./around europe ? http://www.wild-beasts.co.uk/music.html

Beximus
Editors and MGMT would suit me down to the ground.
nathey42
They should call Editors,Bloc Party and The Veils as opening acts..... Which band do you like to see before the coldplay during the u.k. tour ? Editors and Bloc Party would see themselves as too big (in the UK anyway) to be a support act, this would be more likely to happen on the US Tour and in other territories so that they would gain more exposure in areas where they are not so well known. Anyway, didn't I read somewhere on here that Chris' brother's band Milk Teeth would be making an appearance as openers on the UK tour??
Ron Burgandy
Editors and Bloc Party are big, but not too big to support Coldplay. I'd settle for them.

Nope - the Editors are supporting REM on their european tour this summer. So I suppose it'll be more that they don't want to do a supporting tour again, than that they won't support. nathey42
Ok well I would love to see Editors do the support for Coldplay as they are my no.2 band, but I just don't see it happening...
Fixed
MGMT supported Radiohead so the last thing they'd want to do is support Coldplay :P Although I wouldn't complain. If they go for a similar artist to Santogold for the US tour, then I would LOVE LOVE LOVE M.I.A. to support them in the UK. That would make me ridiculously happy :D

No, I don't think so either. I'd love to see someone like Idlewild again, because they're always great.

bearcat1229
Wow alot more Editors fans here than I realized... Editors opening for coldplay would be my dream show. Only thing that would be better would be Arcade Fire in there as well.
xneverwherex
Since editors wont likely happen - I think Bloc Party could be an interesting opener or even The Kaiser Chiefs.... or for a smaller band White Lies (they sound an awful lots like editors) and Paul & The Park - Maximo Park boys would be just too awesome (of course Id go into cardiac arrest) ok maybe i should amend the list and add The Kooks. Dejan
kaiser chiefs are too full of themselves to open for coldplay.....

Think I'd stab my ears out if the Kooks played. I really can't stand them, and live, they're just boring. Sorry. Maximo Park would be pretty awesome though. crazyduckette
I love Editors, but don't think it would happen. I really pray that it isn't Chris' brothers band....I heard their myspace before and wasn't impressed at all. I'd love it if they brought Santogold across.....she is awesome. They should get anyone really. I liked it at Brixton that they had the dj guy, it just made it completely different and cool. I'm liking all the music genre crossing at the moment, spices things up a bit.
