September 13, 200817 yr Author 101 Dalmatians, The Aristocats, Cinderella, Finding Nemo (new but hilarious). Love them....And Mary Poppins but that's a movie. Alice in Wonderful scares the crap out of me...well not anymore though I think everyone is on drugs in this thing the giant caterpillar smoking an opium pipe and a girl that shrinks or gets bigger when she eats or drink... and the cat that constantly laughs for no apparent reason. ....drugs? where would you get such an idea? ;)
September 13, 200817 yr Funny, I'm only really getting into Disney films now, when I shouldn't be. Still young at heart I guess. Basil the Great Mouse Detective FOR THE WIN. Brilliant film.
September 13, 200817 yr Basil the Great Mouse Detective FOR THE WIN. Brilliant film. Yes! The best Disney film ever, I love it so much. There should be a new movie adaptation of Sherlock Holmes.
September 14, 200817 yr My favourite ones are the Lion King, 101 Dalmatians and the Jungle Book. I hate ending of the Jungle Book though, always have. The only animated Disney film that I liked was Finding Nemo.
March 15, 200917 yr I love Disney movies, I don't think I'll ever get enough of them. I have "I'll Make A Man Out of You" from Mulan stuck in my head now. I love that song and movie.
March 15, 200917 yr I love Disney movies, I don't think I'll ever get enough of them. I have "I'll Make A Man Out of You" from Mulan stuck in my head now. I love that song and movie. I love that song. It's so catchy. I would have to say that my favorite Disney films (Non-Pixar) are Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas (though it was inaccurate), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (though it was not entirely with the book), The Lion King, The Fox and the Hound, The Rescuers, The Great Mouse Detective, Mulan, Dumbo, and Bambi.
March 17, 200917 yr I love Disney movies, I don't think I'll ever get enough of them. I have "I'll Make A Man Out of You" from Mulan stuck in my head now. I love that song and movie. I know every lyric to that song, even the speaking bits. :laugh3: The Lion King is by far the best!
March 17, 200917 yr I like all before mentioned BUT I especially loved Pocahontas. I'm not sure why but I did. She was kick ass lol. I think she was one of the few Disney "princesses" that wasn't a damsel in distress (she technically was a princess as she was daughter of the leader of the tribe, but Disney doesn't recognise this because they want moar Princess Aurora/Belle/Cinderella-esque princesses). She had to actually save John Smith for once and do some of the damn thinking, unlike all the other classic Disney princess movies.
March 28, 200917 yr I freakin' LOVE disney animated movies from the 80s and 90s. Even earlier than that, like the real classics Snow White, Pinnochio, etc.., but I just cannot get into the pixar ones too much. There were a few that I do like like Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc, but idk, they still don't capture that old school disney magic. Then again, it could be that I'm just getting old lol. People do tend to like stuff from their childhood more.
March 30, 200917 yr I love Beauty and the Beast. That's my favorite, I guess because I love the beast and his antics... I can never get to the end of Pocahontas, actually, but the music is so beautiful... and Mulan is just so bad-ass! :P Now I feel like going to Disneyland. :\
March 30, 200917 yr Now I feel like going to Disneyland. :\ Me too. The worst part is, I'm currently about 20 minutes away from it, and I still can't go. :\
March 30, 200917 yr Aww, for me it's an hour and a half away. My sister actually went on Friday, but I had to go to school, so I couldn't go. But I went four times last year, and it is so expensive now, so I guess I'll be Disney-free for a while...
March 30, 200917 yr Four times in one year? :wideeyed: I don't actually live near it (although I used to live in Hollywood when I was younger, so I went quite a lot ) but I'm in LA for the week... and I really want to go since I'm so close at the moment.
March 30, 200917 yr Beauty and the Beast is just the awesomeness! Beast was such a hunk. Until he turned into a human.
March 30, 200917 yr I know every lyric to that song, even the speaking bits. :laugh3: The Lion King is by far the best! Me too!!! On both Mulan and Lion King! I would cry when Mufasa died. :bigcry:
March 30, 200917 yr I still cry when Mufasa dies. :bigcry: My brother and I used to reenact that scene at playgrounds on the slide. One of us would be Scar, and sit at the top, and hold "Mufasa" by the wrists, and then say "Long live the king!", and let go. :laugh3:
