July 21, 200817 yr WHAT???....WHY YOU ON HERE PEOPLE...LOL! cause AtEase is a cruel and vicious place. ;) :laugh3: besides, just cause i love Radiohead more doesn't mean i don't like Coldplay, you know :p
July 21, 200817 yr Author Radiohead are more musically talented than Coldplay definetly. I like them because of the use of guitar. Coldplay tend to shy away, like they are frightened of the guitar. Coldplays guitar work is very constrained. But thats not that I agree on everyone on here. But being better musically dosent mean they are better, look at alll the other bands around, they have more use of guitar but you knoww theyre not better than Coldplay.
July 21, 200817 yr In Rainbows. In years to come it'll be known as the highlight in radioheads career. VLV will be known as a stepping stone to even greater things
July 21, 200817 yr  indeed i am! I've never felt so alive!!!!!!!!! Excellent! :D I know how you feel, it was the same with me ... kind of ... :) Radiohead "suck/s/ you down to the other side."
July 21, 200817 yr VLV...sorry Radiohead fans, but 90% of their songs give me a headache, and In Rainbows is no exception. Tell me when they start making music without calculated dissonance. :\
July 21, 200817 yr Author ^^How could you!! You traitor!! Just joking.:P Come on VLV. Come on Coldplay fans, lets piss off some Radiohead fans today!!:D
July 21, 200817 yr Come on Coldplay fans, lets piss off some Radiohead fans today!!:D meh, whatever the results of this poll may be, we all know who the true winner is. :sneaky:
July 21, 200817 yr A general Radiohead song is extremely repetitive. I find a lot of their musical concepts to be very well thought out but to be executed very poorly. For example: House of Cards, more or less the same riff for 5 minutes. I'm sorry, but their music has little replay value. Not to say that VLV is even close to Coldplay's best, but it is superior to In Rainbows.
July 21, 200817 yr i LOVE COLDPLAY but i must say that in rainbows has music that i can feel(if u know what i mean) and sadly for me vlv doesnt soooooo........i cant believe im saying this but my vote goes for IN RAINBOWS

July 21, 200817 yr A general Radiohead song is extremely repetitive. I find a lot of their musical concepts to be very well thought out but to be executed very poorly. For example: House of Cards, more or less the same riff for 5 minutes. I'm sorry, but their music has little replay value. little replay value? :stunned: seeing as vast majority of radiohead's fanbase are people who stick around for years and years and obsess over every little detail, etc....that speaks completely against your statement. House of Cards isn't meant to be a complex cerebral piece, it's just a relaxin' chill-out tune. 'tis all about the mood and sensation it creates. most of Radiohead's material is very meticulously crafted and "embellished" with all sorts of interesting details that sometimes become apparent only upon repeated listens. not to mention that they quite rarely use conventional song structures. the lyrics also are a food for thought, often profoundly philosophical, with layers of meaning, sometimes alluding to books, historical figures and events, etc. anyway, with all due respect, your opinion seems to be very biased, and i don't think you've given Radiohead a fair chance. :)
