heh, i'm the exact opposite to you two most of the time :P. i love small towns and small cities, even. i start to go a bit crazy in cities (london is the exception).

 

i ordered my pair of boots that i posted a few pages back, so they should be here within the week :D.

 

i noticed the other day that two of the things i wanted most fashion-wise were riding boots and a trenchcoat. once the boots get here, i will actually now own the equivilent to everything that gwyneth used in this GOOP fashion thingy :lol: :

 

i do really wonder when i started liking nicer clothes. until like, 9 months ago all i really cared to own were jeans and tshirts :P

Finally, the coat.

I ended up buying it at Primark and am quite happy about it... It's sort of graffiti, but it lookes darker in the pic.

 

 

Since I got to England I already bought a bunch of stuff and have been meaning to show it to you guys for a while now... so here you go:

Chelsea, I used to be like you. When I was in my early years of grade school I used to dress fancy for my age, as a matter of fact, my best friend told me that before she knew me in third grade she knew me as the 'girl with the white party shoes' :laugh3: But then between 4-8th grade I got a little tomboyish...hated dresses and skirts and would rather be in plain things. Then by ninth grade I was like 'fuck it' and got into fashion and here I am...:P It's weird, but I love clothes and fashion and all those things now. I thought I never would, haha.

Aww thanks guys!!! I always loved winter clothes so I'm having a blast here with buying new stuff. And Chelsea I totally owe you my life for showing me the delightful world of tights. I'm soooo much confident with them that I can actually wear shorter skirts without overworrying (and by shorter I do not mean the belts some english girls around here wear as skirts)

That tights thing could possibly be me. :lol: I love them, I personally like them better than leggings. I have hot pink ones and plum colored ones, haha. I want red ones like you have, Mari! Can't seem to find a decent pair.....

I think It was prob you then, Annie. I actually wasn't completely sure which one of you it was... And Annie, I got those red tights from Accesorize. And they were only 5 pounds, which for accesorize it's really affordable...

Hey Sally, they are really not the best boots, imo they have the same prob of the UGG boots, which is the fact that they dont really hold your ankles and in the end you are waling with your feet inwards. Right now I have to stick to them coz I hurt my foot last week and cannot put heels coz it hurts like hell... and they are being good coz it leaves space for me to put my foot on the most confortable position to walk...

True, I had the UGG boots last year but I had to throw them out because they were so uncomfortable. I got kinda bored of them too because everyone was wearing the same boots. As for the other ones I had to bring them back because they actually hurt.

i got my boots today, which i ordered in EXTENDED CALF because i know my legs are a bit beefier than most, and they're STILL tight. my left leg is much fatter than my right leg, i've noticed. there's noooo hope of me ever wearing anything thicker than leggings under these, and i really wanted to wear pants under them like, all the time. i'm debating exchanging them for a half size up just to get an extra 1/3" on the calf size :sad:

i tend to look really weird in big patterns like that. i think it's because i'm short, so with bold, big patterns i look stocky. i do better with solid colors or understated, small prints :P

i wondered if is should cut bangs again.

i was a bit inspired to do so when i saw a pic of elle mcpherson quite recently and i liked her sort of... 70's hair.

Yeah, brown might not work with them. Just wear some nice dark wash jeans and a cardigan. :D

Yeah any shade of brown darker than tan is pretty bad with black. But these days navy and black is pretty acceptable.. depending on if it looks good. Otherwise anything goes- jeans, khakis ..
