Radio2 Live: Coldplay - 30th August 2008 @ 7pm BST

Some instruments are ok, but also leading vocals?? I think that's too much :(

Well, there could be a reason for that.

Maybe because they have a little 'pause' of the tour.

So they add a little backtrack for vocals in the hard songs so his voice is in perfect condition in the tour.. :)

I think instead of wasting tons of money to rent MSG, Coldplay should invite all Coldplaying members to a private gig and they'll surely have the best audience of their lives!!

almost certain to be recorded from several sources and also ripped from the website ;)

And by the way, Guy plays the string backtrack for almost all songs.. :)

Really ?! how do you know ?! just curious

Hey guys..i finally got Radio2 to work!!! Did anyone record the beginnig?

didnt sound much like leading vocals really, as it was quite quiet. Ive noticed backing vocals at other big concerts before, especially where a layered vocal effect is needed or what not.

They said it in a intervieuw long time ago, I can't rember when, but they said it. :)

Lost!

And I have to agree that I think they're just trying to keep Chris' voice perfect for the real shows- especially since they've had what, almost a whole month of not playing, right?

I love LOST!"I just got loooooooossssstttt" but I wanna see Chris' crazy dancing!

the drums sound amazing tonight!!!

Let's hope so, cos it's really noticeable in this song.

One can tell the band loves the live version of this song. Performing the album version of this song wouldnt be as fun although its very radio frendly. Maybe this is why they decided to do a live music video of it.
