And the thing is, they are not really new...:laugh3: They are things that I've had for aggggges and have yet to use them. And funny enough, I used to carry them in my older purses a while ago. :P The coin purse was from Target that I got about three years ago. And the journal I got FOUR years ago for when I went on a trip to NYC but never used it once. :lol: Actually, I think I got that at Target too...LMAO!

 

I was just cleaning my room last night and I randomly found them in this box of nicknacks I have. :p

back in america again (:mean:), so this is a more typical bag for me:

 

 

columns from left to right:

1) my cell/mobile; a half-drunk bottle of hawaiian punch (my non-caffinated lifeblood)

2) a packet of tissues; another bag i got in paris that compresses into that tiny black thing in case i needed to carry more things; ipod; wallet.

3) bag itself, from the strand bookstore in NYC (pins on it are the crest of my old school, euromast, london underground, an ESA astronaut, and barack obama); my keys with too many keychains (mini flashlight, car keys, mini wooden shoe from holland, moon and star house key, borders rewards card, subaru, old school crest, AAA, coldplay, '07); my pencil/pen case.

4) journal, london guidebook/mapbook, pocketknife.

5) diary, notepad.

 

i had a lot of time to kill in starbucks today while waiting for my brother, so that's why there are so many notebooky things there :P

haha, and yes, a pocketknife. i've been carrying one since i was about 9, but not for defense. even though when i'm in NYC or something, i do have it in the back of my mind...:P

I should get a pocketknife.....it would be handy I think.

 

In school I'd always tell people that when I grow up I'd carry a nine mil in my bag for self-defense. :lol: And they believe me...

i just randomly thought of this thread since i'm procrastinating, and since i have a bag obsession, i think i'll bump so more people might be tempted to post.

 

so, here's my current (non-school) bag that i use when i go out...which is like never when i'm at uni :P. basically, i go to target to buy groceries :lol:

 

 

1. big white bag (it's not memorial day yet so i'm not technically allowed to use white, but i just got it and i wanted to use it :wacky:). also, a pink paisley wallet/wristlet thing that i use on campus that holds my ID and cell phone. i just realized it's basically the same pattern as my bedding :lol:. it also has my room key (with a smiley face hamburger key guard!), my knife, and a mini sharpie on the keychain.

 

2. USB drive, wristlet holding lip gloss & lotion & tissues, gum, burt's bees chapstick.

 

3. ipod, pen, 2009 calendar (which i never use while at uni...it'll start filling up once i get out of here!), cell/mobile, butterfly notepad, home/car keys with too many keychains.

 

thrilling, right? :dozey:. but i love looking at other peoples' bags, for some reason.

I've been using the same bag for about a year now. :lol: It's so big and expensive that I don't need another bag for the rest of my life.

i don't NEED another bag for the rest of my life. but bags are my weakness...especially ones made by coach :wideeyed:. otherwise, i just use casual sorts of canvas ones like this...but i have so many!

 

anyone care to keep this thread going? :D it was one of my favorites.

I would, but I still use the same bag, and I doubt people want to see it again. :D
