Ooooh and MARMITE AND VEGEMITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aussies are crazy about them but I think they're yucky. :p

All Australians are sexy, tanned, sandy-haired, tall, with amazing muscles, and cool accents.

Also, they all surf and do not have homes. They live on beaches and do not wear shirts. xD

Okay, I was obviously kidding. But I guess Australians are cool. Well, there's some cool ones and some not so cool ones, just like everywhere else.

G`Day Mate, Want a can of Fosters?

Yuck,no snail water for me!!!

It sure is,and it's only purpose is to get rid of snails in the garden.

-I like their accents

-I like Jesse Spencer (Chase from the TV show House :P).

-Nina and I have established that my future husband may be Australian :P

There are a lot of sharks in the sea

Kangaroos can be mean and bite you if you mess with them

Koalas are uber cute

I can't fully understand sentences when Aussies speak

There is a big brazilian community in Sidney

Aussies like to drink beer

Australian food is quite good

The best meat pie I ever had was in Australia, when I was 4, and I still search for a meat pie with that same taste today...

Aussie guys are hot.

I love it!!!I have a tattoo of the map of Australia on my ankle. My great aunt has been living in Australia for a long time now (1950) so I've been there several times.I love it!Oh and I'm applying to gradschool in Sydney and Melbourne...who knows I might move there next year

Hmmm... I always remember the old National Geographic picture of a family living in a opal mine underground there in the outback.. For some reason, it just reminds me of the American West in that sense - sort of a wide-open dry land in the center, not unlike our west, with lots of colorful people. Actually, the continent resembles North America, with wet coasts on E and W, and dry interior, but really wild flora and fauna!!

Laid back attitude, yet the cities are intense (aren't they all!). Lots and lots of mining, sheep ranches, parakeets that eat and pry at everything in parts, and for the most part, people live where they do here - in the wetter parts in the East & far West coasts. Lots of suburbs too - but I always think Australians are a bit more defiant, resilient, and independent that we in the states are..

Like most things, what we see on TV, and how it really is, are usually two different things. From here, it looks like an exotic paradise on the coasts, farms, and then dry interior with natives, and bus-loads of tourists going to see the rock in the center! But they rarely show the miles of suburbia, the factories and shipping docks, the stuff that really comes out of the mines.. Come to think of it, that's anywhere!:laugh3: (Welcome to America's industrial heartland.. over here, a giant refining tower; over there, the plastics plant..) So, we see the happy face of Australia.

Aussie's like to keep dogs on the right side of the fence, rope wild stallions, and play cricket.:P

Oh you guys are champions for writing back and you know it is really interesting to see how other countries and nationalities view us but I have to say this AUSTRALIA IS TOO A CONTINENT.

Now that that is said, i'm pretty sure you guys are all right about our personality e.g. we are pretty friendly and introduce ourselves to people (yeah we don't need invites either) but what about our natural dislike of authority? Even off duty police officers will challenge authority.

I don't mean we do anything horrible. We do stuff like flick our lights to warn other driver that the cops are up ahead or in school if your whole class is threatened to be kept in because you won't say who the culprit was, we'll stay in. I suppose that also intertwines with our mateship.

You guys should totally hear some of other war stories, playing cricket in front of the turks. Bloody champions!
