Four US shows announced

We're pleased to be able to that Coldplay have confirmed four more US shows. They are as follows:

 

Wed Oct 29 - Boston, MA - TD Banknorth Gardens (on sale Fri August 15 at 10am here)

 

Fri Oct 31 - Washington DC - Verizon Center (on sale Fri August 15 at 10am here)

 

Sat Nov 1 - Philadelphia, PA - Wachovia Center (on sale Mon August 18 at 10am here)

 

Wed Nov 5 - Altanta, GA - Phillips Arena (on sale Sat August 16 at noon here)

I'm considering the Philly show, but that would mean coming home from college for the weekend. Although it is a Saturday and would thus probably work. Hmm...well, there's a week to decide!

It's great that they've added more shows, but why in the exact same cities they've already performed or were already scheduled to perform in?? Geez, they do actually have fans in other parts of the "US of A" for Christ's sake............. :confused:

What's the point in playing the same places again?! If they are going to play extra dates they should go to the ones that have been missed out.

Not that America hasn't had enough tour dates already :P

Oh, god! I totally want to go AGAIN to DC! Granted, I probably won't get those amazing tickets like last time, but I promised one of my friends that if they came into our area again, we'd go together. (And Muse as well, but that won't be until later.)

 

Now, how to persuade my dad to get me a ticket...

 

Well, he likes Duffy (yeah, a bit weird) and I heard she's going to be the support act. Maybe if I tell him that he'll buy the tickets?

hopefully since they are playing a few places for the second time they will change up the setlist. like maybe adding cemeteries of london....... or some of the oldies they are skipping out on! idk i just can't seem them going to these places for the second time and bringing the same exact show...

It's funny because the newly announced "second" show in Atlanta is taking place about a week before the "first" show in Atlanta.

Are there any presales for these new shows?

I was trying to see if I could maybe get early tickets (didn't work) but this is better. My dad isn't a big fan of Coldplay (I KNOW, right? I'm molding him though... he said "42" wasn't that bad and I caught him singing "Violet Hill" once.) but he likes Duffy (weird) and if I can get him to get tickets for Coldplay because of that, then my job is done. :D
