I wouldn't know if she's any worse than Victoria, Coleen or whatever they're called.

Its probably more other women than men that make you feel like you have to make an effort to be fair. I've been out when I wasn't dressed up for town before and I still got men talking to me. It's more other girls, who make you feel inappropriate. That's the one thing I hate about this place. Girls wear their best clothes everyday. They even dress up to go shopping in town.

 

I cuaght myself doing that just now:lol: I was wearing sweatpants and changed just to go to the supermarket... but I don't mind that I don't like looking like a slob or something, dressing up doesn't really hurt... except for the heels... they can hurt...

I dont ever dress up and if I do its not to impress anyone. I havent worn anymake up for over a year or so now. And most the time a women would look better if she wore none or not so much. Some chicks wear WAAAAAAAAY too much makeup and it just looks icky. But you can look cute/pretty and not look like you spent hours doing it.

IE a simple sundress hair up in a cute ribbon or ponytail and some cute flats or lil heels. A bit of lipgloss and maybe mascara. I think women try too hard. when in reality i dont think men like all the makeup... i dunno.lol

Actually, yes, the excess makeup is a bit too much - and to tell it like it is, I think both men and women are somewhat like love birds - likes tend to attract likes; it's sort of a cuing thing, and eventually if women demanded it, guys would shave their legs to stay competitive. Swimmers already do this - so for various reasons, if the chase is on..;)

I'm 5'11 (so already finding someone tall enough is hard) with dirty blond hair and it seems to me that girls try way tohard for guys. Sometimes it's kinda funny... Like honestly I gotten to the point where I just don't care anymore. But I mean like just the other day I was in math and I looked around at what the guys were wearing and it was all t-shirts and jeans...comfortable right??? :shocked2: then as i looked at the girls... They had their makeup and their hair all pretty.. with their colorcorrdinatied outfits and acessories...I mean If I, as a girl were to where to my school...a t-shirt and jeans everyday people would be like "HEY Aby, did you wake up late this morning?" :\

 

But then again I do live in So Cal....where everyone looks good ALL THE TIME...

really my man is so lazy about it... he sometime doesn't shave for a week!

Because - our new royalty are celebrities, and everyone tries to look like them! So, if they don't shave.. (ahem, like some aforementioned band), then we do the same!:P And besides, It's not my fault!:laugh3:

I like waxing and this epilator thing. It's more convenient because it lasts longer. Of course it hurts a bit, but I wouldn't like to shave every day.

To the point... Girls should shave their legs and other wherever areas in my opinion. I mean, that's just how I prefer it. I'd do the same if I was asked to by a girlfriend. I shave my stomach, anyways. I'm not a massively hairy guy so my chest and back don't need it.

 

As for makeup and clothes, if they feel that that makes them look at their best, there's nothing wrong with wanting to look like that as much as they can. It's just personal opinion. It might be a confidence thing, and you never know if these girls who "always wear their best clothes" sit around in a tracksuit at home all the time.

 

And as for who said "why do we have to have tans" etc. You've got a pretty shitty guy situation there if they make you tan, that's all I can say.
