Some More Saturday's Random Pollness

Featured Replies

And the first question which pops into my head is this.

Would you put your life in danger to save the life of another person?

The other person could be anyone, brother, sister, cousin, best friend, stranger etc

I voted yes.

I have personal reasons as to why.

But I have faith in where I go when I die.

it would depend on the situation, i mean if i feel that i could save that person and not harm them or make a situation be worst (like if we are on a bank and someone gets there with a gun or something)... i would do it or try to.

Yes!...Other people are more important than me! :D

I voted yes, because I'd like to think that I wouldn't stand by and watch someone in trouble.

But I guess you never really know until you're faced with that situation...

Wow, that's a deep question for so early on a Saturday night!

I voted yes even if it is a wish that I would be that good.

I have no doubt I would be blind to danger for a loved one,

but for a stranger I suspect some survival instinct might come in the way in spite of myself.

I have the same general feeling. I'd do anything for a loved one, family, friends.. But I'm afraid I'd be too coward to put my life in danger for someone I dont know..

This is a tough interesting question.. not so random for once David :P

same here...

depends on who it was. Some people I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

^:laugh3:

you've got a good point there ian.

i probably would save sumone...it does depend on who it was

..family obviously

how many people would die for a member of coldplay? :P

^ Oh Good question ! But I'll never have to ask myself that.. :disappointed:

I can't answer that...1) Cause I think everything happens for a reason and 2) We all have a destiny ..and I doubt getting killed for someone else is it

but at the same time I think about the people I love most.. and I'd give my life for them!!

so yea.. I can't say yes or no

no one's more or less important then you Simon ;)

Pissing on fire is so much fun, but it smells horrible.

Coldplay members are part of the loved ones, unless I much mistaken about what we are all doing here. For that matter part of the adored ones.

QUOTE]

I think like you things happen for a reason, if not instantly a recognisable one, but contrary to you I believe saving someone

a) can be part of the reason

b) can definitely be part of your destiny and growing of your soul.

how many people would die for a member of coldplay? :P

They're my top 5 people-I'd-die-for

Yes I'm THAT sad

If you know anyone who is dead, your answer should be yes.

because you love them and their being on earth is more important than yours (I should have specified gone to heaven).

i voted yes.

i thought about that a while ago and i wondered what i'd do if it even was someone i really disliekd, but then again i thought about the amount of people who would be sad if that person died. and i thought of the amount of people who would be sad if i died and i think people wouldn't be too sad if i was dead. this is no poor attempt to arouse pity. it's just how i feel about it.

so i'd definitely try my best to save that other person.

I've actually saved my sister's life, but it didn't involve me putting myself in a life threatening position

Wow, what happened?

She had gone to bed and everyone else was downstairs watching a film, so I went up to see if she was ok and she was making these weird noises, so I went and checked on her and she was kinda spasming, so I really panicked and shouted for my dad to come up

turns out she was choking on her on tongue and her jaw had locked in place, so we phoned 999 and they talked us through what to do until they got there.

They basically said if I hadn't have discovered her like that she would have died
