John Hamm To Host Saturday Night Live On October 25th

 

John Hamm [pictured] is an actor, known best for his roles on television. John Hamm was born Jonathan Daniel Hamm on March 10th. 1971. John Hamm is currently starring on Mad Men and was nominated for a 2008 Emmy Award.

 

Hamm will be the guest host of Saturday Night Live on October 25th. 2008. He will be accompanied by musical guest Coldplay.

 

John Hamm has been nominated for 5 Golden Globe Awards and he won last year for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series for Mad Men.

 

He was nominated for the 2008 Emmy Award for Best Performance in a Television Series - Drama for Mad Men, but did not win.

When me and sister were watching SNL the other night, we were wondering when they would be on and we figured that if anything it would be October 25th, because they are playing New Jersey on the 26th and the 27th! omg we were right, yea I'm so excited.. although I have no idea who John Hamm is.

To get tickets to SNL, you sign up for a lottery before the season starts. If you get picked, you are randomly assigned a show to go to. So you can't request to see a specific host or musical guest. In other words, the tickets for that show are already given out to people who may or may not want to see John Hamm and Coldplay. :( You could definitely try for the standby line on the day of the show (which would be to fill in the extra spaces of people with tickets who don't show and whatnot), but supposedly there's not a lot of luck with that, and sometimes they don't take in any people off the standby line. Of course, for Coldplay, it is worth a try! :D
