Ok. I looked up the ways to get a standby tickets. There's a dress rehearsal and the live show. Looks like the chances of getting a standby ticket is better if the host and musical guest are not popular, since it's October we can't hope for a blizzard either.

 

Here's the info I got from this site:

Getting Standby Saturday Night Live Tickets: For stand-by tickets, arrive by 7 a.m. on the morning of the taping under the "NBC Studios" marquee on the 50th St. side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Standby tickets are available for either the 8 pm dress rehearsal or the 11:30 pm live show. Only one ticket will be issued per person. Please note that a stand-by ticket does not guarantee admission.

 

I've read on other sites that the line for the standby can start as early as 5pm FRIDAY.

Guys, I might, might, MIGHT be going! I'm currently trying to bribe my friend who has a connection at SNL :P Let's hope I'm successful- it would be the most amazing thing EVER!!! Plus I'm seeing them in concert at home a week later!

if andy samberg and bill hader do "LASER CATS IV" with chris and/or the guys as the villains, i think i would die of happiness. i pretty much wet myself at laser cats II with jake gyllenhaal, but this would be even better.

lets start an official petition for Laser Cats IV featuring Chris Martin. It needs to happen. We could get someone to stand outside of the NBC building long enough to catch Andy going in/out and BEG him for another installment. Totally worth it.

I'll keep everyone updated... It's going to be so exciting! The only other time I've seen them was from the back of a stadium with like 20,000 other people, so this is going to be very different! And plus I'm seeing them in concert again less than a week later... It's going to be a GOOD week :D
