I find it funny that he thought rehearsals were the live show.

Yeah, it was pretty funny. He was just like "is this live TV? Oh shit oh shit!", and then during the countdown for Lost! when it got down to 1 he yelled "uh oh!" into the microphone.

 

They did tape the performances because they used them in the commercials later that night, but he just kept forgetting that it wasn't the real show...
