Lovers In Japan !Should Be Next Single?

Featured Replies

who agrees, personally it should have been the thrid single but for some reason !Lost! is popular so they put it as the third! Lovers better be the next single =]

I still hope it could be the fourth single, but it may be a bit too much of an obvious choice.

However, after Lost!, I get the feeling that the next single could be taken from the Prospekt's March EP.

Lovers In Japan will almost definitely be the next single...not that it really matters. Coldplay aren't a singles band, VLV got to Number 1 because of the iTunes ad, but other than that they're just not.

Lost will chart really low as will LIJ. *shrug*

I agree. Singles don't really matter any more.

Hell yeah!!!! i love the bass but thats another thread

Fourth single should be Strawberry Swing

I personally adore SS, I am searching through my daughters room for Strawberry stickers to put on me for the concert but i do not think it will do well as a single, but shizzle, i am not in the music biz so ya never know what people will like

According to my vynil version that on a stick it got in the plastic that envolved it says: Coldplay Viva la vida... Includes Violet Hill, Lost!, Lovers in Japan and Viva la vida.

So it should be the fourth and last single :D

IT HAS TO!

I want 42 to be next and then lovers but 42 will probally be exculded altogether and the last will be lovers. Although they were contemplating releasing 42 as their first...

Eh I don't like Lovers In Japan at all. I was hoping for 42 but to answer your question I think Lover will be the next single. I just don't see them trying to float 42, its not exactly radio friendly. bummer.

Lovers In Japan or Strawberry Swing would be a good choice. :wink2:

I think that would be perfect song for the single... but, they already did video for Lost! which I mean it would be better for lovers in japan - in live version... just imagine live version and after it those butterflies. nice, huh

but then will compare it with rhcp "snow hey oh" and their "snow" hehe

Bored of people arguing in favour of Coldplay doing everything the 'right' way, following rules and playing to the masses.

DAAHF as the next single, please, kids. Take a risssssssk.

Yes. 42 is too dark for single.

I think it won't be yes otherwise they would have played the song during the European tour

Lovers In Japan or Cemeteries Of London or Death And All His Friends.

Those songs for me are so great, and I would like to see one of them as the fourth single.

Cemeteries Of London has very little probability to be chosen as a single, I guess

lost! will be released as single in november, in december there will be a new EP. So I think it will be prospekt march after all:p

i would love if 42 or DAAHF would make it to be the 4th single, but being realistic LIJ is probably gonna be it......
