First step done!

I just printed out the logo on an adhesive label... this way I can use a regular postcard and still have the logo on it.

i still don't know what i'm gonna write on my postcards!!!! :bigcry:

any suggestions to make me sound a bit less crazy/stalkery????? :P

This is a fantastic idea, I need to get a postcard asap.

it's not too late to join, believe me :nice:. we haven't even gotten an address yet.

really, we're thinking the last date for mailing postcards will be around november 30, so anyone can join up until then, really.

write a personal story about how they helped you in a time of need or something, if that ever happened. i think something very small and specific like "'amsterdam' really helped me when my parents got divorced" or something like that would mean a lot more and stick with them more than an "OMG I LOVE YOU" postcard, or even an eloquent one with only general statements.

Chelsea, you are so wise... I think now we have two Guru's in the house!

^we most certainly do!!!!

Thanxx!!!!!!!!! :D

 haha, well thanks :D

seriously, though. of course, everyone can write WHATEVER the hell they want, but i did mention it might be best to write some sort of personal, specific story in the rules. i really think it'll mean a lot more.

I want to start one but I've been out of color ink for weeks:confused:

Great! You can count me in! :)

Hi!!

I have had an idea!!I'll make them a few bracelets with thread!

BYE!!

So we are obliged to do so? Who has read the article about coldplay.com spreading the love. Maybe we should follow suit.

no one's obliged to do anything :D. it's all about writing what YOU want to, but i do think that the point of the project is to say thanks and give back to THEM, so maybe that's something to bear in mind.

the personal story/specific thing is just a suggestion to people that might not know what to write or want to try to be original.

My half term started 2 and a half hours ago.

Yippppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Now I can turn my attention to the really important things in life...

finding a postcard!!!

I'd like to do one, but I can't go to a post office and I only have regualar 41 cent stamps. Can I just stick enough on there for the airmail postage or do I absolutely have to get an airmail stamp?

yes, if you absolutely can't go to a post office, the next option is to stick on like 2 or 3 regular stamps and handwrite "AIRMAIL" somewhere on it and see what happens. it might not be a guaranteed delivery and it might take longer, but i think there's still a good chance of that being ok

Ok, thanks.

I should print the template on something a bit sturdier than regular paper, right?

and the Guy Berryman thread!!!!!
