December 16, 200223 yr what i wanna know is what kind of accents each of you have. i'm gonna say i dont have one because i've never been told i have. :D
December 16, 200223 yr my accent isn't that strong but when i visit other places they can usually tell i'm from liverpool. or occasionally they think i'm irish  but god only knows why, cos i don't sound irish at all :?
December 16, 200223 yr i'm just boring old english...i think i sound normal but i guess it's different for people who come from elsewhere
December 16, 200223 yr well thanks for telling me but i have no idea what that would sound like....from liverpool or ireland
December 16, 200223 yr I SOUND NORMAL. sorry, but i do, everyone else sounds different. i'm just plain. :)
December 18, 200223 yr sydney-siders that live near the beach (like me) have normal accents, its just neutral, the westies and country folk have really nasal and harsh sounding "aussie accents" a la steve irwin.....kylie minogue has a beachy sydney persons accent...have any of you heard her speak? do you sort of get me? ginger: southern americans, in my opinion have, possibly THE strongest accents i have EVER heard.....i cant believe no one has ever told you that. its certainly stronger then a 'yankees' accent and to all the british and irish posters here: you guys have REALLY strong accents too, you may not know it, but you guys stick out like a sore red thumb, as the saying goes. of course you probably think the same about me, i think im neutral, but im probably not. :) its weird that.
December 18, 200223 yr  just because i live here in the south doesnt mean i have an accent. not everyone here does. and i havnt been in tx all my life...in the south there are plenty of accents. but i just happen to have none of them. i go to other places and people wouldnt know i'm from the south.
December 18, 200223 yr Oh... it's the British accent that does it for me. I go completely weak in the knees. All I have to say is Chris Martin is a complete package for me. :P
December 18, 200223 yr ok guys you only think you dont have accents because you have been surrounded by that accent all your lives, theres no such thing as a neutral accents.
