I sent mine today! First I got weird looks from the guys where I printed the templates (they were all dressed in black with huge heavy metal tattoos). Then I went to another place to print the front... and the woman said: "hey, have you already bought your tickets to see them?" and me: errrr... yeah, back in... 2007" and she answered: "No, the other lady who works here bought it last saturday, they're coming in March" and me: "Hmmm... she might have bought tickets to see Radiohead..." and she: "Oh yes, that's it" :shifty: But then the girl from the post office was the nicest ever!! She took a looooooot of time trying to find a way to put the stamps without covering our logo! She made it with so much love and kept pointing several times how beautiful it was! :) I had a lot of fun working on my postcards!! :D

incidentally, my new sig was my original card to send to the guys (without the writing on, of course). the quality was so bad on the card when i printed it, though, that it wasn't worth sending :sad:. but semy made the quality better for me and i thought it would be nice as a sig :nice:. i wish i could have sent it, though.

Yeah it really took me a while to pull it off. I used every tool I have in my "Art Stuff Box"... I was even afraid the postal office might reject the other postcard because they are mostly cut-outs and are embossed in the paper. Luckily, I found a sealing adhesive (about the size of the postcard) to seal it up!

You made this? the colors are lovely. *off topic* I was at a local bookstore and I was reading this book about London... reading through the pubs and Liverpool -the Beatles- and the famous landmarks (Wesminster Abbey, House of Parliaments/Big Ben and the Museums) made me want to visit London more!!!

God, no, I didn't make that card, I bought it!!!

Yeah, I really want to... Its just that its expensive and its hard to get a visa for your place, that is why I'm studying really hard so that in the near future, I'll be able to afford it and finally wander around your place, and not just explore it from the book :P

Well, most cards from Liverpool tend to feature The Beatles and it seemed daft to send a postcard of one band to another band!

 

When I found that one I was thrilled. I love the clours in it and the place it depicts is literally 60 seconds away from Parr Street Studios. And the cinema you can see in the card is a really cool cinema that shows lots of different kinds of movies as well as the big blockbusters (the chairs recline and you can take alcohol in with you too). I figured they may well have gone there during their time in the city. It's the best cinema in Liverpool
