Any news from Debs?

Ok, so I FINALLY finished writing my 2nd postcard. It took me 45min to think up, and only 4 drafts!:rolleyes:(and no I'm not gonna tell you what I wrote, LOL just know it was super mushy:blush:)

I'm about to head off to the post office. Better late than never!!! (Chelsea, aren't you proud LOL my procrastination is only so bad!:P)

everytime i come by and read what's new here, i feel so happy. this was such a fantastic idea. its been said a thousand times before, but, the amount of effort and creativity everybody has put into this is just amazing.

 

if this doesn't make them feel like the best band in the world, then i don't know what would :nice:

Wanna know the best part? I LITERALLY cut and pasted it. With scissors and a glue pen! Woohoo! Ghetto style! No fancy-shmancy photo-shawp for me!

I sent mine today but I don't know how to upload the photos from my camera :embarassed: (I usually have them transferred on to a disc and send them from there).

 

I'll just describe them instead...

 

One was a bought postcard with the slogan "Historic Norfolk" and pictures of various stately homes, churches etc.

 

For the other one, I printed one of my poems (which I wrote especially for Coldplay) and centred it on a piece of card. I decorated the edges with stickers of stars and hearts.

I'm thinking I'll just keep it really short and sweet. I don't know though because, I keep thinking "omg coldplay is going to read this" :laugh3: it's so much pressure.

just relax and try to write something you'd want them to know about you or that you'd want to tell them if you ever got to meet them...... or just say thanks for the great year ;)

Just got mine in the mail finally. Didn't think to take a picture, but it had a generic photo of the Bluenose on it and said "Nova Scotia" in big white letters. Prepaid international postcards cost the same as international stamps, apparently. :stunned:
