February 4, 200917 yr not all of us can do that..not everyone has credit cards that work online or have credit cards at all! Well, i didn't even send a card so i really have nothing to do with this thing anyway  Hey any help we can get in this thing is good!!! :D And i think this is the best idea so far, but also agree with you, though i would be more than willing to chip in i personally don't have a credit card..... :\
February 4, 200917 yr Love the charity idea. There MUST be a way to be able to send money without a credit card........ :inquisitive: *goes search*
February 4, 200917 yr i really love the charity idea :nice:. the question of how to donate money without a credit/debit card, though, is an issue. people without plastic cards: do you ever order online? how do you do that, if you do? checks always, work, though. charities will pretty much accept money in any form, i think. so checks would definitely be possible.
February 4, 200917 yr Yeah, that's what i was gonna say.... i don't have a credit card, but i do use paypal for internet shopping (coldplay shopping, actually :P)
February 5, 200917 yr yeah, how the hell do you use paypal without credit/debit cards? i was going to suggest it, but i assumed you needed plastic to use it. on a personal note, i HATE paypal with a firey passion :P. whoever designed their interface needs to be fired and put out of the business forever. but yes, paypal would work :D
February 5, 200917 yr Paypal works easily with a credit card, but if you don't have one they give you a code and bank account to deposit money.... i think it takes about a week for it to show up on your paypal account using this method ;) Having said that, i'd be impressed if we found a charity that accepts paypal.... it just seems like something that is used for shopping more than anything else.... :\ But lets see what we can find!! :D
February 5, 200917 yr usually donations and payments can be done to a bank account number, then you only have to go to a bank and make a deposit to the account (I don't know how to say: hacer un ingreso en la cuenta). And you don't need a credit card in that case.
February 5, 200917 yr ^^^ Very good point :D Now we need a charity people!!! Wait..... are we actually agreeing on doing this??? :stunned:
February 5, 200917 yr The bakery needs a pet! Yup, we can send them a kitty and call him "Marmout" I usually can't find the difference , unless that 5 berserk  minutes they have. :P
February 5, 200917 yr ^^^ Very good point :D Now we need a charity people!!! Wait..... are we actually agreeing on doing this??? :stunned: are we? wow! iw as thinking we could set up a bank account and transfer money there but i am thinking it would be great of we'de get a signficant amount if everyone here donats a dollar/pound/euro we'd have like 50 euro's.. i'm not saying everybody has to throw in loads of cash though... and for charity i'd say oxfam... actualy if we're donating there we might be able to ask pete fo r help in how to donate? only do we have to thank hm for that after as well? i'll volunteer :P :wacky: usually donations and payments can be done to a bank account number, then you only have to go to a bank and make a deposit to the account (I don't know how to say: hacer un ingreso en la cuenta). And you don't need a credit card in that case. edit: sorry i didn't see your post... but di do want to add that transferring money to an international bank account costs extra, which would be a shame we might be better off transferring directly to the charity of our choise
February 6, 200917 yr are we? wow! iw as thinking we could set up a bank account and transfer money there but i am thinking it would be great of we'de get a signficant amount if everyone here donats a dollar/pound/euro we'd have like 50 euro's.. i'm not saying everybody has to throw in loads of cash though... and for charity i'd say oxfam... actualy if we're donating there we might be able to ask pete fo r help in how to donate? only do we have to thank hm for that after as well? i'll volunteer :P :wacky: edit: sorry i didn't see your post... but di do want to add that transferring money to an international bank account costs extra, which would be a shame we might be better off transferring directly to the charity of our choise Yes, that's what I wanted to say , but you explained it better than me :)
February 7, 200917 yr are we? wow! iw as thinking we could set up a bank account and transfer money there but i am thinking it would be great of we'de get a signficant amount if everyone here donats a dollar/pound/euro we'd have like 50 euro's.. i'm not saying everybody has to throw in loads of cash though... and for charity i'd say oxfam... actualy if we're donating there we might be able to ask pete fo r help in how to donate? only do we have to thank hm for that after as well? i'll volunteer :P :wacky: edit: sorry i didn't see your post... but di do want to add that transferring money to an international bank account costs extra, which would be a shame we might be better off transferring directly to the charity of our choise I'm liking this idea more by the second, easy, practical and also really cool!! And i agree that you should probably ask Pete on some advise.... i mean the man already knows you, so..... :nice:
