Yeah it was! So hey I think we should make our claims for the inner corner on the left, so we can be near Jonny's ramp and also be as close as possible to the center of the stage. How about it?

I'm all for it! But sh*t! I ran out of coloured ink...I'll have to run to a copy center and have it printed there. I'll be looking out for everyone.

I can't wait for Politik, which in my opinion is hands down, one of best songs live. And of course Fix You, and this time around Glass of Water.

I wish they'd play A Rush Of Blood to the Head or Shiver or Sparks ....(link down, youtube "Sparks Live")

...instead of something like The Hardest Part. For some reason, the song never really grew on me and I always felt as if White Shadows should have been a single instead. To each their own I suppose.

Yeah I like White Shadows better myself. But I simply love the live concert version of The Hardest Part that they've been playing. It's a lot better than the album version if you ask me.

A Little About Kity, Daisy, & Lewis

Elbow has been confirmed as the support for a while now. There's also Kitty, Daisy & Lewis supporting that night. I've never heard of either band... Well, if they're supporting Coldplay they must be good... Guess we all must wait the 54 and see...

Kitty, Daisy, & Lewis is a country style band. personally, I'm really not a fan:thinking:, but I've always liked how Coldplay seems to have no genre limits to the music they love.

OMG I HATE COUNTRY

WHAT TIME WILL COLDPLAY BE ON SO I CAN SKIP THE OPENING ACTS?

Planning on bringing posterboard signs to the concert to hold up. Does anyone know if the security guards will take them or not????

Lol I share your feelings on the matter:D

I'm not sure though, 7:00PM maybe?

was just wondering I have tickets for the pit, but have to buy a few t shirts for friends, should i get it before the show or after?

I also hope they play everything's not lost, it's my favourite song live, I rather have them sing this than green eyes, I never got the appeal of that song.

I'm pretty sure Coldplay don't come on until 9ish, that was the case last year. Doors open at like 7:30, then the two opening acts, then the arranging of the stage, plus they want the crowd to get anxious and make them wait a bit. In terms of them playing some different songs, it definitely is a possibilty. Last time they were here they played Don't Panic in the encore, which I'm pretty sure was the only time they've played it all tour, and they played hardest part last year, which was the first time and the start of them playing it on the tour. We just have to go crazy and make them want to keep playing!

Well, as a green eyed gal I was very appreciative that a band finally wrote a song about green eyed girls (if you notice, all the songs are about brown eyes and blue eyes). :D

As for buying shirts and stuff, it all depends if you are adamant about not losing your spot. If you want to be in the front of the stage you must get there early, but if you don't mind hanging out near the back of the pit, you'll be able to come and go without worrying about losing your spot.

As for me, I don't mind chilling in the back of the pit with my niece cos I think anywhere you are in there it's gonna be a great spot.

The boys probably won't take the stage until 9:30-ish, considering that this time around there are two opening bands. But be there for 9:00 just in case. I haven't listened much to Kitty, Daisy and Lewis but some of Elbows songs are actually reallly good :)

Having them play Don't Panic last year during the encore was just icing on the cake because it was so unexpected and a great surprise :nice: I do hope they do something a little extra for this show, but either way it'll be amazing.

And of course we'll go crazy, don't we always?

Just had to get that out of my system

WHOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't imagine that in 24 hours we're going to be lining up for the show. It doesn't even feel like it, the reality of it still has yet to sink in completely.

Yeah we really gotta savour the moment, because next thing you know we'll be talking about how amazing the show was. The moment always sinks in right as those lights drop and the crowd of 32 thousand (?) goes nuts. Speaking of which, does anybody know how many people will be there, because I know the Rogers Centre has the capacity to hold 55,000 people for a concert.

I feel the same way. I HATE it when that happens. :(

Hey guys!

I am new to the forums and I just want to say I am SOOOO excited for the show tomorrow night! :D

I don't know if anyone has posted this already, but I found the set list from July 18th's show in Carson, California. It might not be exactly the same as our show in TO, but I bet it will be pretty close. (It's in order, but I don't know why they all came out in "#" signs )

Looks like about 75 - 80% of the seats at the Rogers Centre are being used sooo I'd say there will be about 42 000 people seated. Plus all those people in the pit and the A and B sections! Either way, we need to be a better crowd than East Troy... the so called number one crowd of the Viva La Vida tour so far... There's no reason why it can't be us!

welcome to coldplaying!

Thanks!! :laugh3:
