Ohh Chicago, nice!

Here's an idea let's all go take Ultravioletlight25 ( sorry idk yourname :() to a nearbuy bar/restaurant before the concert :P

Ermm but I can't really advise you any places to eat since I don't usually dinne in the downtown. :shame: But if it helps me and my french class went to this french restaurant (which is not that far from Rogers Centre it's on Front St.) and it's called Le Pappilon or something. The desert there was pretty much the most amazing thing you'll ever taste:wacky:

About sightseeing. Roger's Centre is RIGHT next to CN Tower, you could also visit the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario), and ROM... Idk what kind of stuff are you looking for?

Ohh that sounds good! Thanks for the advice. I guess I really want to get to see as much of Toronto as possible in those couple of days. I'm definitely thinking of heading to the CN Tower and AGO. Probably some of the malls there too. Of course the part I am most excited about is the the concert :D I just got back today from seeing Coldplay in Wisconsin. I'm drained though it was a 3 hour drive to get there and a 3 hour drive to come back to Chicago. LOL I'm addicted to Coldplay. Last night during the concert Chris kept saying that the crowd in Wisconsin was the best crowd of the tour. The crowd was really into it -- on there feet singing and dancing. However, I have a feeling that the Toronto crowd can beat the Wisconsin crowd :sneaky:

He's a liar. He's been telling Toronto the same thing.

Motherfucker.

OMG 4 days!

I cannot wait, can we just skip Monday thru Wednesday and make it Thursday already?

I wonder where they'll perform the C-Stage songs. Lately they've been going to the lawn, but there is no lawn, maybe they'll go to the 200 section like they did at the ACC last year. Any idea on how many people can fit in the pit?

Knowing North American security measures it won't be like a European pit where you get crush, sometimes loose your shoe etc. When I lived in Europe, I once saw a girl loosing her t-shirt.Got ripped off.Don't how.It wasn't that much of a hard-core concert but still...lost her tshirt...

So, the pit should be okay here cause they prefer when people have actual seats

since I know ev eryone is gonna take most of their pics of chris, I'm gonna focus my photos on Jonny.

I'm kinda confused about a couple of things - if you have Section B floor tickets, when is the best time to show up at the Rogers Centre? And how can you get the tour merchandise...do they hand it out for free (like the copies of LeftRightLeftRight) or do you have to purchase them?

Sorry, this is my first Coldplay concert. :P

They hand out LeftRightLeftRightLeft after the end of the concert, probably form up lines or something.

I really hope it doesn't rain, the weather's been pretty wonky the last week..

Ahhhh. This week!

Is the roof going to be open, I havent seen anywhere where it has said whether it will be or not

Given the chance of showers during the day, it'll probably stay closed. Someone should give them a call 416-341-1707. I just tried but the line's busy....

Even if it doesn't rain, I'm pretty sure they don't open the dome for concerts, it could really mess around with the acoustics of the stadium. Plus, with this concert, they would probably want it closed so they could drop the balloons and butterflies, but it would be great if the dome was open!

Note to self: be sure to wear bra in case my shirt gets ripped off in the pit. :wink3:

^bras are essential....well unless you want to get a lot of attention

I do think they are gonna open the roof if it doesn't rain. All the summer shows have been in field and stadiums and stuff like that. The balloons and butterfly things still work.

As of 5 minutes ago, I'm going to this concert :freak: :bomb:.

We were going to be in Toronto anyway at this time, and we've known Coldplay was going to be there too then, but because I've seen them so much and our Canada plans were unclear, but this morning at breakfast my mom looked at me sideways and was like "do you think there are Coldplay tickets left for Toronto?" We researched a bit and found out there WERE tickets left, but we decided we probably weren't going to go because our schedule is so tight.

Then my dad logged onto the family computer and saw I left the Coldplay and Ticketmaster pages up on the screen (oops...) and was like "*sigh sigh sigh* I guess you really can't miss it if they so happen to be there." So I got tickets off StubHub...section 134, row 2, right next to the stage! :stunned:

Now my only worry is that my tickets come in the mail in time! We selected FedEx overnight, but the seller BETTER check their email first thing tomorrow morning and pop them in the mail :bomb:. Ugh, now I'm worried they won't come in time :worried:.

^I've actually reaaaaally started to worry now . If the seller doesn't put the tickets in the mail til Wednesday night, I won't get them til Thursday morning, and we're leaving our house at 7AM, before mail would arrive on Thursday morning :uhoh:.

should have had a V8

Oh my god, that's soo crazy! :laugh3: All the pieces just fell perfectly in their place (Coldplay and Ticketmaster pages up on screen, you being on a trip to Toronto, Coldplay being in town) and you managed to get great seat tickets! I can't believe what a great surprise that must be haha but I really hope that the seller sends them over to you quick.

I've never used StubHub so I wouldn't know but Hippotamus did... I'm not sure how long it took for him to get them...

Good luck! You're going to have so much fun :laugh3: Us Toronto folk are a good bunch

I used stubhub as well and scored some A1 tickets about a week and a half ago.

:stunned:

I've sold on StubHub several times before, but not bought...the thing is, the tickets are overnighted on FedEx, so it's not the actual mail I'm worried about, it's when the seller sticks them in the envelope and in the FedEx box :uhoh:.They're TOLD to mail them IMMEDIATELY upon recieving the email (which is sitting in his/her inbox right now...), but that doesn't mean they'll run to the nearest FedEx the second they read it. If they don't do that til Wednesday, I'm screwed :worried:.

Anyway, I'm getting excited for my first international Coldplay concert!. I'm seeing Coldplay in THREE countries this year, that's just absurd :freak:.
