We're pleased to confirm four more Canadian shows for Coldplay, to add to the previously-announced Toronto Rogers Centre gig on 30th July. I'm so excited they are coming to Winnipeg, initial plans were to fly to TO and catch the show there, but I'm gonna do both! Why not!? This'll be a monumental concert for Winnipeg! I love it! In my experience they often release seats that are scattered throughout the building and I could usually have gotten better seats if I just waited til the public sale and bought them as fast as possible. Is it possible that they save most of the good seats for the public sale? How do you people ever get those close floor seats anyway? I seem to have no luck. I have a feeling they're gonna sell like hot cakes! I wish they still did their fancub presales, I got floor 2nd row tickets in Omaha a couple years ago, best concert of my life! I'm not sure how good the Hot 103 and Ticket Rush presale's are going to be, but they're worth a try... When Coldplay announced they would be coming to Winnipeg last July, Best Buy had offered a presale... I still have their e-mail with the password for that, because they said it would still remain valid when the band rescehduled in the new year (2009)... Some lucky folks in Ottawa used 'em. I wonder if they still would have been honored. On LiveNation it says that the presale is with Ticket Rush. I happen to have signed up when I first heard Coldplay were coming last year, so I am with them. Went to the site yesterday, and it was down, saying that it was under maintenance. It wasn't taking new sign ups either. So I don't know. Tickets on sale Friday. It's going to be intense. In a lighter note, us Winnipegers should get together, or something. My *internet* went out seconds before 10am and it lasted a few minutes!!!!!!! I could hardly believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!! My friend, who lives in another city/country found 2 tickets in 200's near the stage and row 2, so I am **grateful** that at least I have tickets!!! :D I have always had bad luck with TM...good thing I got my friend to help me out!!!! I've done alot of presales over the past 5 years and this was pretty typical. A row or two open on the floor in the 20's, then a couple more near the very back of the floor, a few rows in the 100's and 200's then the rest is 300 level that keeps opening up so that everyone with the password has access to tickets Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
