March 9, 200917 yr This'll be the summer of Coldplay! I'm so excited they are coming to Winnipeg, initial plans were to fly to TO and catch the show there, but I'm gonna do both! Why not!? This'll be a monumental concert for Winnipeg! I love it!

March 9, 200917 yr Any info on how we might get access to the presale? What are your opinions on presale anyway? In my experience they often release seats that are scattered throughout the building and I could usually have gotten better seats if I just waited til the public sale and bought them as fast as possible. Is it possible that they save most of the good seats for the public sale? How do you people ever get those close floor seats anyway? I seem to have no luck. Do I have to be part of some special club to get access? lol PS> I'm from winnipeg too.
March 9, 200917 yr I tend to find that the presale seats are usually pretty good seats along the sides, but nothing on the floor. I think the floor seats are saved for the general sale and various contest winners.
March 10, 200917 yr Sweetness! I can't wait, but I'm bitting my fingernails hoping I'm gonna get good seats. I have a feeling they're gonna sell like hot cakes! I wish they still did their fancub presales, I got floor 2nd row tickets in Omaha a couple years ago, best concert of my life! I'm not sure how good the Hot 103 and Ticket Rush presale's are going to be, but they're worth a try... When Coldplay announced they would be coming to Winnipeg last July, Best Buy had offered a presale... I still have their e-mail with the password for that, because they said it would still remain valid when the band rescehduled in the new year (2009)... Does anyone know if the Best Buy presale is still being honored?
March 10, 200917 yr I think it'll be interesting to see how many Minnesotans will come up to Winnipeg to catch this show, considering how many Winnipegers have headed down south to see their concert!
March 10, 200917 yr I got 2 BestBuy presale codes, but I gave them both away to fellow coldplayers in need when they dropped Winnipeg. Some lucky folks in Ottawa used 'em. I wonder if they still would have been honored. On LiveNation it says that the presale is with Ticket Rush. I happen to have signed up when I first heard Coldplay were coming last year, so I am with them. Went to the site yesterday, and it was down, saying that it was under maintenance. It wasn't taking new sign ups either. So I don't know. Tickets on sale Friday. It's going to be intense. In a lighter note, us Winnipegers should get together, or something. Like a meet-up beforehand, if that doesn't sound lame. lol.

March 13, 200917 yr presale! eep! Good luck with the presale tomorrow, 'Peggers!!! I still can't believe they were coming last August...and still can't believe they're coming *here*!!! I am soooOOOOoooOOOoooooo excited!!! Finally!!! I'm just nervous about being shut out...and this is the 1st time I try for tix at MTS. Is Hot103 also giving tickets away? I've been listening to Curve...no luck at all...

March 13, 200917 yr I'm looking for three, so haven't gotten anything on the floor. I searched 2 a few times, and got a few floor seats, but they weren't very good. I'mma try tomorrow, I think. We'll see whats up. It just seems like they didn't really release many floor seats. Is that how this kinda things generally goes?
March 13, 200917 yr worse case scenario...no internet!!!!!! Ok, so what's the worse case scenario? Internet going down. Yup. It happened! My *internet* went out seconds before 10am and it lasted a few minutes!!!!!!! I could hardly believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!! My friend, who lives in another city/country found 2 tickets in 200's near the stage and row 2, so I am **grateful** that at least I have tickets!!! :D I have always had bad luck with TM...good thing I got my friend to help me out!!!! I will also try again tomorrow AM.
March 13, 200917 yr I got two seats on the floor in row 23, pretty pleased but going to see if I can get closer tomorrow morning. I've done alot of presales over the past 5 years and this was pretty typical. A row or two open on the floor in the 20's, then a couple more near the very back of the floor, a few rows in the 100's and 200's then the rest is 300 level that keeps opening up so that everyone with the password has access to tickets
