I thought I was doing well with Minneapolis last fall, Winnipeg next week, and Alpine Valley in July. This is one heck of a vacation. You should <touch wood> enjoy a great stretch of weather across Western Canada next week. We've had a crappy spring but the weatherman promises to treat us to sunny skies and 25+ temps all next week. Not sure of your pre-concert plans but there's a nice (though a bit corporate and inauthentic) pub across from the venue called Tavern United. They have a roof top patio -- ask if you don't see how to get there....it's a bit hidden from the inside the main bar -- that should be a glorious place for a few drinks in the sun on Monday afternoon. I managed to score floor tickets when they released some seats on that Wednesday in March or April...rather odd...
