Guest kmm1482
WOOHOO!!!! I've been wishing and praying for this since they first announced tour dates LAST year!!! The last time they played here was my first Coldplay concert. It was mind blowing!!!!!! Chris ran into the back part of the awning about 5 or 6 rows behind me and climbed onto one of the red supports!
Marisa
ME too. ME too. ME too. I LOVE Riverbend. This was my first and most favorite CP concert ever in 2005. I need to be in the GA pit again.AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Guest kmm1482
Any idea how much tickets will be? I was under the awning last time and have never been closer at any of their concerts. This might be the last time they're there for a long long time and I wanna get up close in either the pit or front row section
Marisa
GA pit tickets were like 65-70. But I really think they'd go up this time around. Yeah tickets under the pavilion would be the same just that the pit tickets would sell out faaaster.

noonsun
I might actually go to this. Pretty exciting. However I would have to sort of drag my father aallll the way down to Cincinati (we live in Louisville) just to do ONE thing, since I am not quite officially old enough to drive (out-of-state.) He says he likes Coldplay, though, although he's also said several times that he doesn't really enjoy non-symphony concerts for some reason, because it's so hard to really hear the music. Maybe we could both get tickets, or something. Fingers crossed.

Did you got to the one IN Louisville a few years back at Freedom Hall?
noonsun
Nah. I only became a Coldplay fan kind of recently. This is nice though, because almost no largeish bands ever even come to this area basically at all. Did you go, or something? And I'm pretty sure your point about the classical bits is irrelevant, because in an actual symphony hall, people are veeerry quiet and there's, you know, an actual orchestra. :P
WV Gal
Ooh, I am so going to this show. I've only been to Riverbend once and, IMO, it's not that big of a place. Then again, I might be thinking that it's not that big because I was sitting in the third row and I never turned around to see how big it was. :laugh3: Liz, where did you get those prices? And yeah, the general pit is the closest to the stage.

Coldplay fans, however, aren't so quiet :laugh3: I went last time they played at Riverbend, it was my first Coldplay concert. It was almost quite literally a life changing experience. noonsun
XD Yeah, all the vids I see on YouTube and all the comments on this board promise me that a Coldplay concert is practically a religious experience :laugh3:. I haven't really been to any full-fledged concerts, allthough my dad took me to this place downtown called the Jazz Factory a lot when I was a little younger. It was amazing, all the artists would talk to me afterwards and stuff because I was so short and little and young-looking and I actually knew what the hell was going on in their music. They always seemed so amazed. :P

noonsun
AHH KMM YOU HAVE 666 posts POST SOMETHING ELSE NOW! :P Unfortunately, considering how expensive the tickets will probably be, the current Status of Sara's Going To Cincinati This Summer is now officially I Will Think About It, But Basically No, Because We Are Evidently Very Poor. Weep. :P
