I am new to the forum, though I have been visiting the site for some time. I flew up from Hawaii to see the shows in Southern Cal. The Boys did not disappoint!!!

I had many many favorite moments from the shows but last night while Chris was doing his solo for the "The Hardest Part" he mentioned that a curly blond haired boy wrote the song for girls. He caught himself being a rock star and changed personalities to a husband, corrected himself and said for "a Girl" looking in the direction of his wife. Most people probably didn't catch this but I saw Gwennie on the fan screen shot and in the audience. It was a great insider moment to Chris as the every day husband.

Gwennie was in the audience and Chris sang his heart out. I was at the two shows the nights before and Chris seemed tired and worn but not last night.

It is refreshing to see a rock star going from celebrity to human in one sentence. Yeah it's sappy but he loves his wife.

I am soooooooooooooo sad. I go home tomorrow and probably won't get to see the band for a few years. If I win the lottery in between I am going to Europe for the final shows on the VLV tour.

I got some great pix and will load them up for everybody when I get home.

Aww, I noticed that too. Gwyneth was in the Box seats in Sec 6 when we arrived right before the show, we walked past her and several people were taking pictures of her, so she must have moved down to the pit during the show.

I will come to Hawaii if Coldplay comes there, my two very favorite things - Hawaii and Coldplay.

I have a picture of both the set lists I got but can't post it yet. There's no way to post pictures from your phone to the forum is there?! If anyone knows please let me know! :)

I am still trying to get my head around the awesomeness that was last night, it feels like a dream. Me and my best friend got to the venue at about 4, we had pit tickets and we couldn't find anyone else in line that had pit tickets so we were excited. They finally oppened up the doors and we ran like hell up to the steep hill to the venue. We got it, showed our tickets and got wrist bands right as we entered the pit, there was hardly anybody there and we ended up with front row centers, I couldn't believe it, I almost died!I kept looking back to the loge seats where I had witnessed my 2nd coldplay concert four years ago at the same venue and could not believe that I achieved my dream of seeing them front row center for this one, I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be that close to my favorite band in the world. The oppening bands came out a little before 7, and they were awesome! I caught jonny on the side of the stage rocking out to the 2nd oppening band. Coldplay came out at about 915. I was screaming my lungs out so much that after only 3 songs, my throat was already killing me but I didn't care. The boys sounded amazing and seemed so excited to be there. I noticed Chris looking out towards the crowd and just placing his hands on his heart like he couldn't believe how many people were there. He was very talkative and apologized for those that missed entourage to come to the show haha he messed up a few times and had the crowd cracking up. It was just amazing to see the little things that I normally don't notice such as the shoes that the boys were wearing, seeing the viva on the piano and Chris sticking his tongue out during glass on water to those in the pit, also just seeing the boys up close and their beautiful smiles and how happy they are. I got some amazing pictures and videos that I can't wait to share them with you all. I will not be home to Vegas until Wednesday and I will post them then. I will blessed to catch all three shows that they did in southern California and had the most amazing time of my life. I teared up when they played the scientist last night, that was the first song I heard by them and the song that had me fall in love with their music and now I witnessing them performing it directly in front of me. Also at the end of the show thanks to my best friend, we each got a set list. I was literally shaking as we were walking up the stairs to get out of the venue, last night just felt so surreal and it felt like a dream. Sorry this review was so sappy it was the best night of my life!

does anyone have an idea about what time they started playing at?

also i have pit tickets for tomorrow nights show in dallas - any advice?

thanks in advance!!!!

coldplaying tomorrow in big D!

also, are there different sections in the pit? or just one?

They started between 9 and 9:30, if I recall correctly...

Oh man, it was freaking awesome. Especially when Chris apologized at the end of 42 for "fucking up a chord at the beginning of the song." Plus I managed to get all of Viva la Vida on video, despite having already taken 100 pictures on a 256 MB memory card.

My daughter's ex-boyfriend works at Verizon, unloading the trucks, restocking water, etc. We saw him when we were waiting for the meet and greet, he'd seen the boys but didn't talk to them or anything. He just sent me a text saying that he cleaned out their dressing room and found some papers and is mailing the to me. :) He said it had their schedule on it, but it may be a setlist, which I got from the sound guy. But still, papers from their dressing room!

you better post what they are when you get them:whip:

Apparently the audio from this concert was recorded and posted on dimeadozen.org. Lore has a membership there, and he has very kindly agreed to download the show and reupload it for me; if any of you guys who were there want it, PM me and I'll PM you back once I get it.

Lisa, I think I was right in front of you. I think I see my arms with the wristband, lol. Where exactly were your seats? We were Sec 3, Row U, seats 335-336, right on the aisle. Did you see those girls who got Chris's autograph when they ran up our aisle to C stage? They were sitting next to us.

Pit would have just put me over the edge, lol. How did you manage to get those tickets?

But now I'm a bit sad it's all over. 4 concerts in 13 months just isn't enough. .

Pure luck, Ebay, and some $$. LOL. It was the most amazing experience. :)

Me too. I went to 5 shows in exactly a year, and now won't be seeing them till Lord knows when. Talk about withdrawls! :(

^ i did notice she was in the pit. as i tweeted about it:rolleyes:

Dang, you must have some good eyesight. Where was she at in the pit? I never saw her!

This is a test picture. It's from the Irvine show. I've never posted a picture on here before, so I hope it shows up. :)

Big time withdrawals. I keep watching the youtube videos from LisaNoelle, the best I've seen, both from Sat and Sun shows. My ipod has been going nonstop. And I'm stalking all the threads. I even put all 240 pics I took on my iTouch. I'm so so sad it's over. My husband has a business trip coming up in Boston on Aug 6 for a conference. They're playing there Aug 9, I want to go so badly, but my daughter has a soccer tourny in San Diego that weekend and I suppose she can't really go alone - she's only 10. My kids and husband think I'm nuts, but I just can't get the concerts out of my head. And especially, I keep going over and over the few seconds I had to talk to Will - and hearing his voice thanking me and saying that he hopes I will enjoy the show. And the radio station *still* hasn't emailed out the group shot of all of us, the one where I'm right next to Will and Chris has his arm around my husband. I'm sad the meet and greet was only literally less than a minute, and that I didn't break the rules and take my own pics of the guys. Jackie told us no personal photos or autographs, there was no time.

yeah at first i told my friend that looks like someone familiar and i was like cameron diaz:laugh3: and he was like wait that is gwynet paltrow. i see her on the bigscreen. apparently she was only in the pit for half the show.

We saw her when we walked to our seats before they came on. She was sitting in the Sec 6 boxes. I didn't want to stare, but she was with a group of people. When we got to our seats, I looked back and there were a lot of people taking pics of her. So so sweet when Chris sang Fix You to her, and didn't change the words.

LOL wow, I can't believe I didn't see her. :( What part of the show was she in the pit? During Fix You? Aww. I swear, she is soo lucky to be married to him!

Thanks. That's my FAV pic I took of him. It was hard to get a good one sometimes, cuz he moves around so much!

Ahh that's why he didn't change them! I noticed that. Awww that is so sweet of him. :)
