I guess whoever bought the tickets through livenation and provided a valid e-mail address will get the notification. Other than that, people wont know (buying off third party people, off ebay, & etc) oh shit just ignore my post, must have been smokin crack last night or something ;)

July 6, 200917 yr Yay! KROQ just called and I can pick up the tickets that I won to the concert anytime. When I won the tickets, way back in March, they said "don't call us, we'll call you." So I've been patiently waiting. I just have to drive up to LA now - that alone is an all day event from here. They also said they'd call me again next week to go over the details for Cocktails with Coldplay! 13 days until I get to meet the boys...
July 12, 200917 yr One week from today, and I get to MEET COLDPLAY! I'm beyond excited. The radio station that I won from says they'll call this week with the details of Cocktails with Coldplay. Wonder what kind of rules there will be?
July 13, 200917 yr Have fun w/ the cocktails. I'm going to this show on a last minute whim. Apparently, I may have some VIP access during the show. I really do not know what that means or what I can do with that... but I'll give it a shot. I'm still trying for that private show, which I believe is in Capitol records, if I'm not mistaken.

They're making a big deal out of the "secret" location. I'm so excited for the cocktail party. A tiny bit of me is kind of disappointed in the tickets I won, though. I had bought presale tickets in Sec 8, Row AA, the best I could get. Then the tickets I won from KROQ are in Sec 3, Row U (out of X rows). They are directly in front of the tickets I bought, and only 3 rows closer. I was kind of hoping for, oh, row 1? lol But they are slightly better seats, so that's good, and I was able to sell the other tickets to a neighbor.

The "secret show" is a promotion from Star 98.7 radio and I think Capitol records. Roughly 20 lucky winners (and their guests) from the radio station and that soy milk company will be in the audience. It was a big deal on the radio this week, with texting the code word given out twice a morning. Then you could also enter on the 98.7fm website. And it is sometime on Sunday. I tried and tried to win, but no luck this time.

That would be epic. Or if instead of the Viva la Vida remix that they normally play after the acoustic set, they played the Strawberry Swing remix from that one Roadie #42 video. Even if that doesn't happen, it'll still be amazing! Second time seeing them live, and this time they'll actually play Life in Technicolor ii.
